held her tightly, kissing her lips, comforting her. Raven wasn’t aware that she was clutching the silk duvet until the pain passed away, and all of him loved all of her.
Raven felt warm blood boiling all through her soul. Her body melted, entwined with his, and her heart had never felt so whole. In her lifetime, she’d never been exposed to so much raw emotion as he now glided inside of her.
“Are you crying?” Liam paused, bracing his elbows on either side of her shoulders.
She hadn’t noticed her eyes were wet with tears, she hadn’t cried in years. Raven leaned up and kissed him. Her hips arched as incentive as his warmth enveloped her.
“Please don't stop, Liam,” was all she needed to say.
His cock continued to stretch what once was her prized innocence. Liam sank down on top of her, and Raven held his strong body close.
Conscious of his strong, hard weight, Liam began to lay beside her. They looked up at the ceiling which had been transformed by sparkling lights, as Paris was the city of light.
“What is the man singing?” Raven asked after a while. “He sounds so emotional, so in love.”
Truth was, the famous French opera singer wove a story about leaving the one he loves.
They both knew the talk about Raven’s feelings of abandonment on Liam’s part would have to be addressed, but not in this special place they'd made for themselves. Not now.
“You're right,” he answered in between kisses. “The singer is madly, desperately—”
“Desperately?” Raven giggled as he continued to bestow love against her lips.
“Desperation is the best kind of love, ReRe. Borderline obsession.”
“Not if this were a stalker movie.” She grinned.
“This isn't a stalker movie. But yes, the opera singer is desperate, like I said. An unconditional love, means you'd do anything for a person.” Even leave them…

Stars sparkled in the sky as Liam and Raven ended up at their old meadow in Bellwood that night after dinner. Neither wanted the night to end.
Her maxi dress draped around her as Raven took a seat in the tall, soft grass. Liam sat beside her. Fireflies dashed around them. Liam had traveled far and wide with his family, yet this was another moment for him to remember forever–the way her hair hung over her shoulder in a thick braid, how she leaned back and laughed when the butterflies tickled her arms and fluttered away from their nocturne spots.
They lay on their backs, watching the zipping of yellow lights back and forth. It was a clear, warm night. He inhaled the mangos and fruity smell of her hair as she cuddled in the crook of his shoulder and chest.
“Why did you leave?” Raven asked. There was an air of uncertainty about the question, as if she didn’t know if she’d like the answer, but just had to ask. Why torture herself; she just gifted him a nonreturnable treasure. All wrongdoings forgiven.
The serenity of the moment was coming to an end. The space between them became tense.  She wanted answers to questions he didn’t know how to answer.
“You’ve been so close,” she said softly, and sat back up. “Only forty minutes away.”
With a sigh, he got up, too. “My mom sent me to Paris.” That time in his life would be much better, easier forgotten. He had chosen not to talk about what he endured when they first became reacquainted, enjoying the time that they had catching up. He didn’t want to think about the past, how his parents sent him away. He’d felt so abandoned. Yet he’d abandoned her. Shit, how to get around leaving her again? Distancing himself from Raven before had been a death sentence. So how in the hell did he plan to leave Raven once more? Shoving that bit of truth aside, Liam rushed through explaining about living with his grandfather and grandmother, pacing in front of her.
“I was enrolled at a private school in Paris for two years. Pierre has the publications business to run, and he was renovating one of the D-Hotels . And my
