She hadn’t really
thought about what she was asking for when she said it, only that the words had
felt right, important. She had needed something more from him, more than just
sex and words. She had needed to feel his full desire. And she had gotten that
and so much more. “I’m glad I asked for that.”
Trask brushed his lips over hers. “I am too.”
“We need to do that a whole lot more, okay?” she said,
kidding, but also serious. She wanted to feel this with him every night, have
this connection go on and on. She had found the thing she hadn’t known she was
searching for her entire life. The thing that made her whole.
He kissed her, his tongue darting between her lips, sending
electric shivers down her back. “Oh yes.”
She shifted beneath him, her pussy moistening again as she
felt the beginnings of his renewed arousal. “When we’re not going to the movies
of course.” She couldn’t help teasing him, it was just too much fun.
He wrapped his arms around her and rolled her onto her side.
“Of course.”
His cock touched her outer folds and Rena decided she had
never really been all that fond of the movies anyway. Still, she hesitated,
scared and insecure. “Trask, is this really going to work?”
“Rena,” he said in that way that melted her bones and filled
her heart, “this is forever.”
She ached for it to be true. He met her gaze and she nearly
cried with joy from the depth of emotion she saw in his eyes. She kissed him
with everything she had in her, opening her heart and allowing herself to trust
him.

a cup of coffee close at hand. Or maybe a martini. It really depends on the
day.
