toward Diesel worriedly. No… no… no he wasn’t going to sleep with her… she wasn’t up for that… or was she? It was so tempting but she would not tell him that.
    “Diesel…” Cain complained.
“Cain…” Diesel retorted with a grunt. “Do as I command.”
Cain sucked in a breath and grunted. “Miley, if you need either of us…” Cain said slowly.
    “She won’t,” Diesel hissed.
Max gripped Cain’s arm and tugged him out onto the deck.
“Go to sleep. I’ll be on the chair,” Diesel groaned.
“You’re sleeping on the chair?” She questioned curiously. The man was big and the only chairs , which were in the room, were wicker chairs just large enough for her to be comfortable.
“Unless you are interested…” Diesel raised an eyebrow but stood firmly in place at the far side of the room.
“I can’t let you sleep in the chairs…” Miley frowned. “It’s not right for you.”
“You are a prisoner here… and you are worried about me?” She could easily see the curiosity in his voice and the almost hopeful look to his eyes. The wonder of why a woman would give a crap if he was comfortable or not, was definitely in his mind.
“Why don’t you sleep on the bed?” Miley said slowly pulling the covers back.
Diesel grinned and slowly walked forward, until Miley spoke again. “I’ll sleep on the chair ,” she told him as she pushed herself from the bed.
Diesel let out a low chuckle and shook his head slowly. “Either we both sleep on the bed or I take the chair,” he told her.
“I can’t do that…” Miley said slowly. She could not sleep with this man and it could turn into something that she was not sure she was ready for. She did not know anything about him… yet she was on a remote island filled with hunky sexy men, one in particular which was in her bedroom right now… and she hadn’t done something like this… But he looked so damn tempting!
“Okay…” Miley said slowly, mentally slapping herself as Diesel lurched forward grinning like a fool.
“Come on… time to sleep.” He told her as he dropped into the bed.
Miley had fallen asleep quickly after her head hit the pillow of the strange dangling bed. The man beside her had curled his large body into the blankets and pulled them up over her gently. Beneath the blankets , she would have thought he would touch her, but not like this… She figured he would try and get her to jump his bones… but instead he slowly wound his arm around her waist and tugged her back into his chest, cuddling her. It wasn’t long until they both had fallen into a peaceful slumber.

Chapter 24
When Miley had woke, the sun was up and shining brightly. A light wind flowed through the curtains of the room and Miley sucked in the scent of the warm tropical breeze.
She felt refreshed. It had been almost two weeks now since she had come to the island. Every day in the village, she wandered around the cabin feeling overly bored. She had been given her luggage and therefore she had found something in it to do… but she wanted out of the cabin.
Each day when she awoke, Diesel would be gone and would again arrive when she grew tired. He never did touch her in any way she was not quite comfortable with and she rather enjoyed the cuddling.
It was her seventh night here, during the middle of their slumber, when a young guard in training dared step inside the room and growl.
That was an interesting sight. Diesel was up and out of bed before she could barely register his movements. His fist shot out and he gripped the man by the throat thrusting him up against a wall. “Don’t you dare growl at me, fledgling!” He hissed. His words slid off his tongue like a snake would probably sound if it could talk, full of hisses and ‘s’s.
Miley scratched at her eyes trying to adjust to the sight before her. As soon as she got her bearings she was up and running across the room. “Diesel, what are you doing?!” She practically screamed as she
