his sweat falling onto my back and hear the slapping sound of our flesh hitting. My body tensed and the muscles of my pussy grabbed his cock as the wave of pleasure hit me like a lightning bolt. At that same moment, I felt him explode inside of me. My hands were clenched so tightly around the blanket that they began to hurt. We both were motionless for what seemed like forever.
I felt his warm lips between my shoulder blades just before he pulled his wilting cock out of me. I let out a long sigh and lay down on the bed. Jake followed and wrapped his arms around my exhausted body. He kissed my bare shoulders and caressed my tingling skin.
“I can honestly say that is a first for me,” he said with a hint of amusement.
“What was a first?” I feigned innocence.
“To have a beautiful woman that I just met invade my shower.”
“Invade? You mean you didn’t plan on that?” I teased, turning over to look at him.
“Not exactly like that,” he flushed slightly, “but I’m not complaining.”
    “It’s not something that I make a habit of either,” I confessed. “I just…”
“It doesn’t matter,” he said pressing a finger to my lips. “As long as neither of us have any regrets, it’s all good.”
He was right. It was all good. I closed my eyes and enjoyed the warmth of his arms.

Chapter Fifteen

“You must have had a good weekend,” Samantha said when she passed me in the hall.
“Why do you say that?” I asked.
“You’re smiling. We haven’t seen a smile like that out of you in a while.”
“I did,” I said, glancing down at my left hand.
“Holy shit!” she exclaimed, almost snatching my arm out of its socket. “I didn’t even know you were seeing anyone! You’ve got to tell me about this.”
“There isn’t a lot to tell,” I bashfully told her. “We met a while back and have been seeing each other regularly. He surprised me with this yesterday.”
    “Who is he?” she probed.
“His name is Jake. He’s a realtor here in town and he is amazing.”
    “Where did y’all meet?
“I was at the park reading one day and he was there playing football with some of his friends. He missed a pass, it ended up in my lap, and we ended up on a date.”
“That’s awesome!” she said hugging me tightly. “I am so happy for you. When’s the big day?”
“We haven’t set it yet. I haven’t even met his family.”
“Girl, you have to set that date. It takes a long time to plan an amazing wedding. I want ot help, if you don’t mind.”
“We don’t haven’t even decided if we’re going to have a big wedding or just go to the judge and do it quietly,” I told her.
“Uh…no. There will be no quiet ceremony. This is going to be a wedding for you to remember. You deserve it. Besides, we all want to be there. Now when do we get to meet this fabulous man?”
“I’ll talk to him and see if we can meet for drinks one afternoon after work. I’m not sure if he’s ready for all us together in one place though.”
“Well he might as well get ready if he plans on marrying you. I hope he doesn’t plan on taking you away from us here once the knot is tied.”
“He knows I love my job. I’m not going anywhere, except to my office to get to work. I have a conference call in about five minutes. I’ll talk with you later.”
It didn’t take long for Samantha to circulate the news of my engagement around the office. I could barely get any work done with everyone interrupting me to ask about the ring and Jake. At one point, I just had to close my office door to be able to concentrate. I was deeply engrossed in a spreadsheet when my private line rang.
“This is Rebecca,” I said into the receiver.
My stomach tied in knots instantly when I heard the familiar voice.
“I hear congratulations are in order.”
I struggled to formulate coherent words.
“Wow. News really does travel fast. How are you, Neil?”
“I’m doing very well. I wanted to call and tell you how
