cock from her body. She instantly felt empty and chilled
to the bone. Whisper lay down beside her, gathering her into his arms, and she
could honesty say she’d never been more comfortable.
    There was a hiss below
them and a wailing cry that echoed. It made Morrigan groan in dismay.
Apparently, the kelpie’s mate was here. Talk about bad timing. She wanted
nothing more than to suckle on Whisper’s soft cock and bring it back to life.
    Whisper untangled from
her and quickly slipped on his leg armor.
    She sighed, loving the
sight of him naked. What would it be like to live in a house with him? Naked
for breakfast, naked for lunch, naked for dinner, naked for showers, and laying
on the couch naked. Damn, she’d be getting laid at least three times a day, and
the prospect made her smile. She didn’t even mind the ordering around he did
while they had sex. Morrigan rather liked his dominant side, but she wouldn’t
tell him that yet.
    Whisper pulled his sword
free, gave her a grin with fangs, and then hopped down the hole. Morrigan
rushed to the edge, pulling on clothes as she went. She just buttoned up her
jeans and looked down. She didn’t even get to see this fight. The thing was
already sinking lifeless into the water, and Whisper was grinning up at her.
Damn, that man made her chest ache. Morrigan grabbed his chest plate and hopped
down the hole. He caught her, dragging her body down his, and making her legs
feel like liquid. It was such a shame they had a long swim ahead of them, and
they were in this damn cave. Morrigan wanted nothing more than to spend the day
with him. Did she mention naked? She handed him his shirt and sat on the edge
of the pool.
    “You will have to guide
me up.” His words were muffled by the armor he placed over his head.
    “What?”
    “I do not know that
technique, swimming.”
    “You don’t know how to
swim!” He’d rushed into the sea to save her and didn’t have a clue how to swim.
    He showed her his
half-dried black wings. “We fly over oceans, not through them.”
    “Right.” She hopped into
the water, happy that it was not freezing, but warmish against her skin.
    Whisper plopped in
beside her, his wings shivering as the water engulfed them. He took a deep
breath and went under. Morrigan was quick to do the same. They fumbled through
the darkness but quickly found an opening, and once through, she grabbed his
arm and tugged him with her. She kicked hard with her feet but found Whisper
floating instead of weighing her down. He looked like he didn’t have a care in
the world as they held their breath and made their way toward the surface.
Whisper was right. They weren’t far under. The damn things must have been
trying to drown them. Her head broke the surface, and she heard Whisper’s gasp
beside her. She fumbled to get her wet hair out of her face and stared around.
It was morning. The sun was just cresting over the horizon and giving the water
a sparkling ripple with each gentle wave.
    Morrigan took a moment
to look around, found the shore, and began swimming toward it. Once again,
Whisper went still, simply floating along wherever she pulled. He was making
this a hell of a lot easier. Using most of her strength, she made it to the
sandy shore. Whisper was taller and touched the bottom before she did. He was
standing, trudging through the water with his black wings shuddering at every
lap. This time he carried her as he walked the rest of the way to the shore.
When they were completely free of the sea, he dropped to his knees, placed her
on the sand, and came over her. His heavy body felt perfect, and he placed his
forehead over hers. His chest was heaving against her, and the friction was
causing her nipples to tingle and harden.
    “I want you again.” He
spoke with his lips moving over her neck. His fangs rubbed along the delicate
skin of her neck.
    Morrigan rubbed against
his body like a cat in heat. Despite being soaked and sore from the ordeal, she
pushed him up so he
