up assuming she was in the bathroom he quickly surveyed the room and saw her clothes and shoes were gone.

Where the fuck is she? Dragging the sheets from his bare body got of bed and headed straight to the bathroom. The door was open and it was quiet. She wasn't in there. Not bothering to put on s stitch of clothing he went stark naked to inspect the rest his apartment.

It took him all of five minutes to conclude that she was gone. When he walked down the stairs into the living room he saw that her things were gone. Anger and disappointment crept into his psyche.

She fucking left without a word. After last night! How the fuck could she just up and leave? He stormed back up the stairs to the bedroom slamming the door shut behind him. Looking over at the bed a calm suddenly came over him. He saw the blood on the bed. Suddenly he came to realization why she left.

She was scared and probably embarrassed. Taking a deep sigh he walked over to the bed and sat on the edge where Mya was sleeping so peacefully just hours earlier.

The memory of their lovemaking was still fresh in his mind. They way she responded to him, how right she felt in his arms and the way she said his name as she climaxed over and over again. He felt some solace knowing that he had given her pleasure and lots of it.

Running both his hands through his head in frustration he got up and walked over to the wardrobe. He pulled out some sweat pants, a shirt and hoodie. A quick shower and a trip to the gym was in order. Then he’ll be in a better frame of mind to deal with Mya. Maybe his workout will lead in the general direction of her place.

By the time Mya arrived home fifteen minutes after leaving Merrick’s condo, she was exhausted both mentally and physically. During the drive thoughts of the night with Merrick played over and over in her head.

When she finally arrived home she had already decided that tea and a long hot bath were the two things she desperately needed. She walked through the door dropped her keys, bag and jacket on the ground and headed straight to the bathroom. Walking over to the copper tub situated in the center of the bathroom, she turned the water on, making it hotter than usual and added lavender essential oil and bath salts.

Stripping the dress from her exhausted body she sunk into the soothing water. Unfortunately, her mind was not so easily soothed. Merrick…. You will have to face him eventually. Maybe you shouldn't have just left. Maybe you shouldn't have fucked him. Maybe you should fuck him again. Yes, that wouldn't be so bad. Ill call him, no Ill send him a text after my bath. Just to let him know I’m ok…

While she was in the process of contemplating her next move, Merrick was making his way to her front door. He never made it to the gym he needed to make sure Mya was ok. He got to her place and saw her car parked out front.

At least I know she made it home…good. Now I can wring her pretty fucking neck. Then…fuck her hard. Or maybe I will fuck her hard while wring her neck. Walking into the building the doorman offered assistance only to be ignored. He pressed the elevator button and waited for the doors to open.

Stepping into the elevator he took a few deep breaths and pressed 10. The building was a ten-story luxury condominium complex only one person per floor, 24-hour security, doormen and all the perks that come with being among the city’s most prestigious.

He wondered if it was wise showing up like this but right now there was no time to second-guess his actions. The elevator stopped on 10 and he stepped out and paused wondering if she would be glad he came. Fuck it. Walking to the door he rang the bell.

Mya dipped her head backwards into the water allowing it to saturate her long sable hair. The water seemed to melt away all the angst she was feeling about Merrick and the aches in her body.

When the bell rang she had just got up and turned
