enclosure. Then I hear a small door closing. It almost sounds like an elevator door. “Are we inside an elevator?!” I ask.
“It’s easier than trying to walk up three flights of stairs.”
All right, my man has an elevator inside his mansion. Now, I am impressed. The sound of the elevator lifting us to the third floor is particularly soothing. The door opens. My lover carries me some more. Suddenly, I feel myself thrown into the air. I scream. What the fuck is this guy doing?! I land on large mattress.
“I like the way you screamed,” my anonymous lover says.
“You scared me,” I say as I begin to stretch myself out. I hear the distinct sound of a cigarette lighter. What is he doing now? I dare not ask. Who knows what my anonymous lover is up to.
After a long, nervous minute, I feel my lover’s presence over my body. He kisses me on the mouth. I feel my right hand get pulled backward. A cold steel wraps around my right wrist. I think I am being handcuffed. I try to pull my right hand. It’s no use. I have been chained to something.
“I think it’s safe enough to restore your sight,” my lover says. He reaches back and pulls off the blindfold. Everything is blurry. It takes several seconds for me to focus my eyes on the soft candle-lights set around a large master bedroom.
To my right is a large wall of floor to ceiling windows. It’s hard to make out what’s out there.
“Where am I?” I ask.
“I’m not telling you. Just because you are in my home, doesn’t mean you’re going to discover anything more about me.”
I am thrilled. I am nervous. I have my lover. Yet, I have no idea where I am. I should just lie back and enjoy this. But something tells me that my insatiable curiosity is about to get me in big trouble.
To be concluded in, “Entranced,” the final installment in “The Alpha Stranger” trilogy.
