blank out the rest off the conversation, spending the time instead watching and studying me.

I didn't notice at first, well at least not until I felt his arms tighten around my waist, making me look back at him.

"Let's go for a walk.so we can talk about things?" He said turning the last part into a question.

I nod and sneaked out of the room via the back door, bypassing Ricky and Kira who were still 'talking'.

Heather watched them, while Matt noticed us walking around and sent us a wink, making Nate roll his eyes.

Standing outside I lead him over to a bench which was located under a willow tree in the most southern corner, the tree slightly hiding the bench from view.

Making it a perfect place to have our talk, whilst also hiding from my brother until he calmed down.

Sitting next to Nate, it was only now when what we did hit me.

I sat looking at my lap, nerves suddenly going into overdrive,  while Nate sat watching and waiting for one of us to say something.

"So" I said breaking the now uncomfortable silence.

I saw a small smile appear on Nate's face.

    "Yes, so"

I finally looked up and turned to him.

"So what are we? Um I mean do you want to be with me or?" I rambled out with my nerves showing in my voice.

Nate wrapped his arm around my shoulder. "Hope what would you like to happen?"

I could tell by his tone he was just as nervous as me.

"II really do like you" I started "But I don't want you to feel like you have to date me or be nice to me or something just because"

I was cut off from my ramble by a pair of luscious lips hitting me.

I reacted to them almost instantly, whilst threading my fingers through his hair.

The kiss was powerful, but sweet.

It only lasted a minute, when Nate pulled away.

As he did I felt myself begin to pout slightly in disappointment.

He smiled at me, whilst rubbing his fingers down my cheek.

"I am so happy you feel that way." He said giving me a heart-stopping smile.

"Because I really truly like you toovery much." He said the last part in a whisper, but I still heard him.

"Really?" I asked, still unable to believe.

He nodded still with the same smile, the one that made my heart swell and feel as though it would jump through my chest.

The one that made whole body buzz and my stomach flutter.

The one I haven't seen since before he started to bully me.

I smiled back and stole another kiss much to his surprise.

He grinned widely. "I could get used to that." He said, making me blush.

He placed his hand on top of mine on my lap.

"Hope I know I don't deserve it, but I really do like you and even though I might not have acted like it in the past I always have." He confessed.

"Please just give me a chance to prove it to you and let me take you out tonight?" He asked in a pleading voice.

"Like a date?" I wanted to verify.

"Yes a date." He looked at me expectantly.

I didn't need to think twice, but I wanted to know what he meant by what he just said.

"What did you mean when you said 'even though I might not of acted like it in the past I always have'?" I ask with a raised eyebrow.

Nate's mouth opened like a fish and closed multiple times before answering.

"It's true. I'm sorry. But I really have always liked you" he answered honestly.

I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion "Then why did you bully me?" I asked meaning to sound strong, but it came out more like a whimper.

He sat facing me looking deep into my eyes and I saw sorrow and regret.

"I know it doesn't change anything, but it wasn't meant as bullying when I did that. I only meant to tease and I thought"

He paused again, rubbing my hand. "It sounds dumb now that I think back, but I thought you would find it funny and would like me more." He says almost shyly averting his graze from mine.

As much as it hurt and I hated that time, I couldn't
