you," Philippe said, entering the apartment. Violet served him a glass of wine and invited him to sit down while he waited. They chatted for a little while and Violet then said,
"Please don't hurt her. She has been through a lot. Her long time boyfriend went missing in South America, so she is very vulnerable. She deserves to be happy now. It would be so nice for her if she could find happiness again."
"I will do my best to protect her. She is so beautiful, but I haven't exactly been a saint in the past."
"I'm packed and ready to go now," Serena announced as she came into the living room, smiling and looking excited. "Did you pack some casual clothing, as well?"
"Yes, sir," she said, pretending to be obedient, with a smile on her face.
"Good, then we better get going. We have a couple of hours of driving to get to there." Philippe got up from his chair and gave her a kiss on the cheek. Driving into the resort with the breathtaking view over the ocean was like a dream come true for Serena. It was everything she had imagined. The hotel was an impressive, large building. Philippe had told her that there was going to be some special entertainment in one of the big halls in the hotel at night and she was looking forward to that. The parking garage was already nearly full, but the porter found a spot for Philippe's car. The inside of the hotel was amazing, with marble walls and beautiful crystal chandeliers. A wide set of stairs with a burgundy-colored handrail looked stunning against the marble walls. The stairs led up to the first floor where Philippe and Serena were staying. The hotel room was huge, with a big double bed and a comfortable sitting area with a fabulous view over the ocean. Serena was impressed. This place was simply sheer luxury. They lay on the bed for a while, relaxing after the drive.
"It is such a lovely room, I could stay here all night," Serena sighed.
Philippe laughed, "No, we can't do that, we have a big night ahead of us. We better start getting ready, and tomorrow I have another surprise for you."
"Oh, tell me what it is. I can't wait until tomorrow to find out."
"You will have to," he teases her, "or it won't be a surprise." Serena went in the shower then got dressed in the little black dress she wore the very first night they went out together. Philippe couldn't keep his hands off her, and swept her into his arms.
"You look absolutely gorgeous." Serena was excited and didn't know what to say, so she just giggled. Philippe loved when she did that, he knew that's when she gets a bit shy. He looked handsome in his white shirt and loose cream-colored sports jacket and dark brown pants.
"Let's go down and join the party." The evening went well and the entertainment was great. They laughed a lot and finished the evening off with some quiet, romantic dancing. Serena was in high spirits and so in love with Philippe. When they came back up to their room, they were both tired. It had been a big day. They were both happy to get into bed and cuddle, but lying there, pressed against each other, they soon gave in to their rising passion.

Chan and Tom walked through a long, narrow passage in the cave and came to a big opening which served as the central cavern in the den. Tom was trying to prepare himself mentally for what he was about to experience, but nothing could have prepared him for what he saw.

Chan sensed his fear right away and spoke under his breath. "Don't worry. It's quite safe, trust me."
"I'll do my best," Tom said through his teeth.
