studied her dress. The dark red fabric was smooth and taut. Claire bunched the skirt in her hands and pulled it down her legs. “Like this?”
Jason tilted his head as he stared at her hips. She fought to ignore the delicious ache settling low in her pelvis. “Not wrinkled enough,” he said.
“What about my hair?” Claire asked. That would be the first thing the other guests would notice. She bent at the waist and rubbed her hands through her long blond hair. She flipped it back and looked at Jason for guidance.
Jason gave a soft laugh. “People are going to think that there was a tornado in the bathroom. Here, let me.”
He rested his hands on the crown of her head. His fingertips pressed gently against her scalp as he combed through her hair. Her world centered on his touch. She bit back a moan of pleasure when she felt a sharp pull on her hair. “Sorry,” he said quietly.
“You should ruffle your hair, too.” Her voice came out rough.
    “Be my guest.”
Her eyelashes fluttered as she opened her eyes. Jason’s attention was on her hair, his fingers getting tangled in the long tresses. She reached up and raked her fingers through his dark brown hair. Claire allowed her hands to wander up the back of his neck to the tips of his ears. He tensed and then shivered from her touch.
“And I should smear my lipstick,” she decided as her heart started to pound. “Make it look as if I’ve been thoroughly kissed.”
“You’re a natural at this,” he said as he cradled her head in his large hands. “I take it this is not your first fake fling?”
Claire rolled her eyes. She had no idea what she was doing, and it felt as if she was on a roller coaster ride. Part of her wanted to get off at the nearest stop and part of her wanted to cling to Jason as they shared this crazy journey.
She rubbed her thumb against her mouth. Her lips felt surprisingly full and sensitive, ready for his touch. “Is that smeared enough? I don’t want it to be too obvious.”
His hands slid down her spine to her waist. Jason bent his head as he studied her lips. “I don’t notice that much of a difference.”
“You should have lipstick on you, too,” she decided. She rubbed her thumb against her mouth once more. Her lips tingled as she felt Jason’s intent gaze. Claire held her hand up. “Should I put it on your mouth, or on your collar?”
His eyes darkened as his features sharpened. “Anywhere you think a man should be kissed.”
Claire’s breath caught in her throat. She wanted to kiss him all over. Drag her mouth down his chest and twirl her tongue around his cock. Taste every inch of him.
Dazed, she rubbed her thumb against his mouth. She was tempted to dip it past his lips and explore. He would nip at her thumb and then draw it deep into his mouth before sucking hard. She paused and reluctantly dropped her hand.
    “What do you think?”
Claire shivered at the sound of his low and raspy voice. “I can’t see it. It’s too faint.”
“You’re not adding enough pressure. Remember, you’re supposed to be kissing me hard.” He clenched his jaw. “Like you can’t get enough of me.”
“Maybe I should just kiss you.” She bit her lip, wishing the words wouldn’t tumble so easily from her mouth. She had to be careful what she said.
He swallowed. “Maybe you should,” he said huskily.
“To make it look realistic,” she hastily added. She felt she needed to explain herself. Just wanting to kiss him wasn’t enough of a reason.
“Right.” Jason’s hands flexed against the curve of her hips. “The details make the difference.”
Claire pressed her mouth against his and poured everything she felt for him into the kiss. She brazenly claimed his lips just as she did in her fantasies. She was untamed as the desire scorched through her. Jason greedily matched her fervor and bunched her dress in his fists.
“Yes, just like that,” she said against his lips.
He shifted his body so her back was
