Billionaire A BWWM Pregnancy Romance 8: My Billionaire Baby Wish
before Angela
walked out.
    “ So,
why didn’t you call me?” Meg asked as she sat down next
to Julie. “Yes, Steven just told me and don’t bite his
head off. I made him tell me,” she said looking at her best
friend’s puffy face.
    Julie
shook her head and shrugged.
    “ It
was not exactly something I wanted to talk about. Besides, I am still
getting used to it myself,” she said.
    Meg
looked at her and frowned. “What happened?”
    Julie
took a long deep breath and shrugged. “Remember the accident I
had in college?”
    “ The
one when you guys were supposed to go to Vegas? Yeah, I remember,”
Meg said.
    “ Well,
apparently the doctors should have told me that the shards of glass
embedded in my tummy when I flew through the windshield actually
scarred my womb,” Julie said. “A lot.”
    “ Okay.
How bad is the situation?” Meg asked.
    “ My
womb is too weak to carry a pregnancy. If I did get pregnant I would
probably have to be in bed from conception to delivery or something
like that,” Julie said. She looked at Meg and shook her head.
“What if Steven decides to leave me because I can’t give
him kids?” she asked as she looked at Meg who shook her head.
    “ Come
on. Your husband is too awesome to do such a douche thing like that.”
    “ Well,
he did say that he doesn’t mind if I can’t have kids. He
actually doesn’t mind adopting but…” Julie started
to say before Meg took both of her hands.
    “ One,
it hasn’t got to hat yet and two you still have viable eggs.
You could have a surrogate if you can’t carry,” she said.
    Julie
looked at her and shrugged.
    “ Where
the hell am I going to find a surrogate?” she asked as she
looked into Meg’s eyes.
    “ Right
now, you don’t have to think about that. All I want us to do is
go home and get you in bed, hopefully for a few days,” she said
as she helped Julie to her feet. “I don’t even know what
you were thinking going to work today,” she added as she helped
Julie into the passenger seat.
    “ Maybe
all I wanted was not to think about anything,” she said when
Meg got into the driver’s seat.
    “ Buckle
up,” Meg said as she pulled her own seatbelt and buckled
herself in. She started the car and looked at Julie. “All you
need is to not think about anything. And that includes work,”
she said smiling.
    Julie
closed her eyes and leaned against the head rest as Meg drove her
home.

Chapter Seven
    For
the next few weeks, Julie did nothing but sleep in and eat junk and
Steven was being the best version of himself. He took a leave of
absence and stayed home with Julie taking care of her. It took almost
an entire month before she decided to go back to work and Steven was
loving the fact that the Julie he knew and loved was back. He was so
happy with the new her that he felt he needed to do something to
celebrate it.
    It
was on a Thursday afternoon and Julie was trying to figure out what
she had to do to make up the difference for the days she didn’t
work. She looked up when Andy knocked on her door and poked his head
in. She frowned when she saw the goofy smile Andy had on.
    “ What?”
she asked as she looked at him.
    “ Your
hot husband’s here,” Andy said.
    She
looked at him and smiled.
    “ What
are you still doing there? Let him in,” she said. Andy winked
at her and got out. Julie stood up and walked round her desk as
Steven walked into her office. “Hey you,” she said as he
walked towards hr. He kissed her and then slipped an arm around her
waist and pulled her close to him. “What are you doing here? Is
everything okay?” she asked. “And what are you trying to
hide behind your back?” she asked as she tried looking over his
shoulder. Steven smiled and brought his hand from his back producing
a gorgeous bouquet of fresh pink and white lilies. She looked at him
and smiled before she stood on tip toe to kiss him. “How did I
not see those? Am I that short?”
    “ Yes,
you are,” he said smiling. He looked
