Rio are hitting a few of those places today buying things for you. They’re probably like two kids in a candy store, finally having the woman they’ve been waiting for all these years to buy for.”
    Jesse wondered what they could possibly be buying. Meeting Nat’s eyes, she raised a brow. “Like what?”
    “No way!” Nat laughed and rounded the front of the truck. “I’m not getting into this conversation. I’m not sure what Clay and
Rio would buy, but I would guess lingerie is included.”
    “Great,” Jesse sighed. “Something that I’m sure to look ridiculous wearing. I usually sleep in a big cotton shirt, Nat.”
    “I’m sure you’ll look great in whatever they get,” Nat told her confidently. “Especially after the spa! Get in or we’ll be late.”
    “Promise me you won’t say anything about this place or my plans,” Jesse demanded after they’d climbed into in the truck. “I don’t want Clay and
Rio to feel like they’re stuck with me. I want to live here even if things don’t work out with us. I’m not even sure if Kelly would move out here. I can’t leave her defenseless, Nat. Her brother is visiting her now which is why I could come.”
    “I won’t say anything, but Jake doesn’t like it when I keep things from him.” Nat shook her finger at Jesse. “You’d better come clean before either of us gets into trouble.”
    “ I’m not the one married to a Dom.” Jesse grinned. “Besides, when he finds out that you kept something from him, he might just give you a nice spanking. I’m doing you a favor.”

    Leaving the spa several hours later, Jesse felt better than she had in years. Clay and
Rio waited outside for her along with Jake who waited, tapping his foot impatiently, to take Nat home.
    Jesse felt relaxed and pampered, her nerves soothed, but she bubbled with excitement at the prospect of spending another evening with Clay and
Rio. Knowing that they had spent the day preparing for tonight increased her anticipation.
    She had already spoken to the leasing agent and found the lease not only affordable, but also included the apartment above. She and Kelly would have a place to live close to work.
    Everything seemed to be falling into place and she felt more excited about the future than she had since before her marriage.
