was able to take just a little more of him in. She let her tongue rub up
against him and in the same instant, felt his large, bare foot find her leg. He
massaged the length of her calf and could tell his toes were curled when, with
only his foot, he nudged her closer to him from the back of her thigh. The
movement knocked him out of her mouth.
“Sorry,” he let out. “I was distracted...want
you closer to me.”
    “ Shh ,” she
said, then stood and tugged him up out of the chair. She tried anything she
could to give the uneasy feeling of S room the boot, but it hung over her like an insistent dark cloud. She did her
best to keep him from seeing it, unsure if it worked.
As he stood, he stopped her and took her
in his arms. “Thank you.” His words came out uneven. “I loved that.”
He’d loved it but hadn’t been pushed to
the brink of an orgasm. It hurt her to know she’d failed. But she was about to
make up for it—she hoped. Emma had to break away or she’d get lost in his
gentlemanly side, and tonight, as they’d both insisted, was about trusting each
other. Which meant pushing each other to certain limits. She’d agreed to this crazy ride, and she wasn’t abandoning him at the first
bump. If only this room didn’t feel so dark. Luka’s cruelty still clung to the
walls, the ceiling, that chair.
“I think this will work best if I lie
down on my back,” she said to him in her bravest voice.
    ****
“Okay.” Sam was all about agreeing at
this point. He hadn’t planned on Emma having her own agenda tonight. He’d get to his soon enough but the truth was they didn’t have
all night. The clock on the wall said it all. Soon enough, show number two would
end. But he wouldn’t rush her. She was trying so damn hard. Besides, he trusted
Gabe had his back.
She looked like an angel lying there on
the floor. And positioned like that, he finally got to see her in her entirety.
Her breasts were the first things to throttle him into overdrive, even though
she still wore her bra. Perfect, he knew they would fit one in each hand. Her waist
and hips were slender but despite what she thought, she looked nothing like a
boy. His hard-on should be evidence of that. Why wasn’t it, he wondered.
“Sam, down here,” she said, holding her
hands out to him. He wasn’t sure exactly what they were about to do, but he’d
done his research two years ago on several fantasy runs through the Internet
articles, because yeah, back then he’d thought about taking her often.
Missionary had ended horribly the first time around. She had to remember.
“Hon, you’re sexy as hell down there,
but we need to do this in the chair.” When
you what? Spit it out, man. “When I enter you.” Total honesty—his only policy with her at this point.
She blinked, looked away, and then
pinned him with two even darker brown eyes. “I thought you were supposed to be trusting me.” She was pleading with him?
At that, he dropped to his knees and
straddled her at her waist. His dick sensed the proximity to her body, and he
had to remind himself how important it was to do this right this time.
“Come up here, closer.” She showed him
what she meant by placing her palms over her breasts.
He nearly died when she did that, except
if he fell, he would have squashed the life out of her so he fought to keep his
composure. On the way up her tight little body, he paused to drag a finger up
her thigh, trusting they were in this together.
“I haven’t touched you like this in so
long,” he couldn’t help but say. “I remember, you know.”
Her brows puckered together and she
nodded like she’d needed to hear that as much as he’d needed to say it. He
still got the sense something in this room haunted her.
Her pink, gloss-free lips drifted apart
and he reveled at the small sound of her breath hitching in and out. Gentle. He
took a chance and used his one finger to travel over the top of her thigh, to
the inside. He parted her at
