    My
forbidden box was hidden at the back of my storage room, beckoning to
me. It seemed a bit silly to go through such a struggle getting to it
when I wasn't even sure Garret would bend to my will. Still,
fantasies of thick leather whipping against his hard pale flesh
spurred me onward.
    Garret
had spent the last month teaching me how to love myself again, and
now it was time for me to teach him how I liked to love. With PVC, a
riding crop, and handcuffs. He would submit to my will, or we would
not marry. Those would be my terms. I absolutely refused to live out
the rest of my life with a man who couldn't satisfy my desires, no
matter how beautiful or wealthy he was.
    Finally,
I reached the oblong box that held all the BDSM toys I had collected
over the years. Opening it up was like a blast from the past, when I
was young and fit and attractive and aggressive. At least, the last
part hadn't changed. Silently, I chastised myself. Alright, maybe I
didn't love myself completely, but I had made leaps and bounds since
hooking up with Garret.
    A
variety of toys filled the box. Whips, handcuffs, blindfolds,
paddles, nipple clamps, riding crops, and samples of lube that were
long expired. The lube would get thrown away, of course, but
everything else just needed a good dusting off before it would be
ready for use. I could feel a delicious clenching in my lower area
from thoughts of using each and every one of them on Garret. Images
of him splayed on the bed, exposed for my pleasure, naked and
vulnerable, were enough to make me want to rub one out right then and
there.
    “ Patience,”
I whispered down to my pussy, which was quickly becoming wet from
desire.
    With
the box in hand, I returned to my car. It was time to head to
Garret's mansion to give him my long-awaited decision. I had left him
hanging for almost an entire week, thoughts of his bold mall proposal
and my indecision muddying our relationship with awkwardness ever
since. The tension needed to end, one way or another.
    I
left the box in the trunk of my car as I ascended the walkway. The
door was opened before I had even reached it, and Mister Sexy Blonde
Adonis was waiting expectantly for me in a pair of sweatpants that
hung seductively from his hips. If the mood wasn't so strained, I
would have been tempted to pounce on him where he stood, rip his
sweatpants down, and mount him like a stallion, taking what was mine.
    “ I
missed you, Mia,” he said to me as I slid into his embrace.
    “ I
missed you too, love.” My heart melted against his firm chest,
thoughts of lust replaced by something far deeper. Would I really be
willing to sacrifice that if he didn't comply with my demands?
    Garret
led me into the dining room where he surprised me with a romantic
dinner. Two white taper candles surrounded a bouquet of fresh-cut red
roses, adding to the ambiance.
    “ You
shouldn't have,” I said, meaning it. My stomach was too twisted
in knots to want to eat.
    “ Well,
I did, so it looks like you have no choice but to join me for
dinner,” he joked, pulling out my chair for me to sit down.
    I
stared down at the shrimp in what appeared to be a white wine butter
sauce. The dish looked scrumptious, but my stomach was in no mood
for.
    Garret
took his seat, and I could almost feel his blue eyes burning into me.
“So, have you made your decision?”
    “ There's
something you need to know about me before I can say yes.”
    The
tension rose with my words. It was almost palpable in the air as he
inhaled deeply.
    “ This
is where you drop a bomb on me, isn't it?” He sounded
distraught, as if all the work he had done towards his trust issues
had been
