cock—a shimmering flash of painful pleasure and perfect energy. Finn’s back arched, his muscles clenched and he cried out. Duran’s final thrust seemed to go clear through his gut.
The sharp, sweet pain of release overwhelmed his senses until Finn’s focus narrowed itself to the rhythmic pulse of pleasure. His cock, Duran’s, both of them pulsing in metered time with their thundering hearts.
Nothing was as it seemed, and yet all felt refreshed. Renewed. Forever changed as Finn realized he was somehow floating freely in the small front room of his cabin, surrounded by the sparkling blue and gold energy that was Duran. He felt whole, and yet knew he was not. Knew he was little more than mist and molecules, a part of the Nyrian who held his disassembled essence within his own sparkling energy.
Morgan was still on the couch beside Bolt, staring at the spot where Finn and Duran had been fucking, but he didn’t move, as if his body had been caught in stasis.
No, Finn. He is moving, but we are moving at a much faster speed, our very atoms spinning beyond what Morgan can see with human eyes. Give yourself over to me.
    How?
Relax. Let me hold you. I want to see how well we can travel together in this form.
    Okay. Where?
    Out.
Before he could question that enigmatic statement, Duran had wrapped his colorful energy around Finn and they flashed through the walls of the cabin, out beneath the midmorning sun, across the vast plateau with the satellite dishes shimmering beneath them. The world beneath was a motionless tableau as they moved over the edge of the property, the two of them nothing more than a burst of sparkling light.
Wait! Duran. What’s that? Slow down. We need to see what they’re doing.
Duran retraced their path and Finn caught the image of at least a dozen bodies in the brush below, appearing immobile as statues to him in this disassembled form. Still, he knew they were climbing up the side of the hill, saw they were armed with heavy bolt cutters and other tools and equipment, all of them heading toward the chain link fence at the edge of the property.
    We have to warn Mac!
    We will. We’re returning now.
And within a mere fraction of a second, they were back in the cabin and Finn was back in his body, leaning over the edge of the chair, his cock pumping thick streams of semen over Duran’s fist.
â€œWhere’d you go?” Morgan leapt to his feet, his cock still high and hard against his belly. “What happened?”
Finn gasped for air, sucked in another lungful and then drew in more as he came down from an unbelievable orgasm. His body tingled and he broke out in goose bumps when Duran pulled free and, with a self-satisfied smirk, headed to the bathroom to clean up.
It took Finn a moment to find his voice. “First of all, it worked. I found the switch, and Morgan, that’s what it is. A switch in the brain that lets you disassemble. I turned into energy, just like Duran, but we were moving at a rate that’s so much faster than humans that you and Bolt looked like you were sitting still.”
â€œCrap. That’s awesome.” He turned to Bolt, but Finn caught his shoulder.
â€œYou’re right. It’s fucking awesome, but Duran took me on a bit of a ride around the plateau. There’s about a dozen guys climbing the hill on the backside, armed with bolt cutters and shit. I need to warn Mac. You need to find your fucking switch.”
    â€œGot it. Go.”
Finn grabbed his jeans and dragged them on without hunting for his boxers. He slipped his feet into his worn moccasins. “Tell Duran I’ll be right back. I need to tell Mac we’re under attack.”

T he door slammed behind Finn. Morgan glanced over his shoulder at Bolt, who was still sitting quietly on the couch. “I need to find that fucking switch, Bolt. Now.”
Bolt nodded. “I agree, but I would like Duran’s help. Now that he’s shown
