    Do you think I don’t know the average American? They’re the new good Germans. That lady and that man I just mentioned are the Germans who smelled the smoke of burning flesh in Auschwitz and Dachau and said they didn’t smell it. “Ah, don’t bother me. Please. There’s nothing like that going on in the ovens. Go away. What, do you work for the Jews?”
    That’s what the good Germans said. They didn’t know there was a Holocaust. They didn’t know there were concentration camps. They went about their business. They made the strudel. They pressed their white tablecloths. They put the girl in a communion dress. They brushed her teeth in the morning and sent her to church. They didn’t want to be bothered with the smell of human flesh a mile down the road any more than the man working in the garment center or the woman on the Upper East Side stepping into a limo or an Uber.
    The president is even worse. Not only does he deny the thousand-year-old religious war, he wants to blame you forwhat ISIS is doing. It’s all Christians’ fault, or at least Christians are just as bad. Here’s what he said at the 2015 National Prayer Breakfast:

In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ… So it is not unique to one group or one religion.     Can you believe the audacity of this man? Covering up Islamist genocide by bringing up atrocities committed seven hundred years ago by Christian crusaders? This is the rhetoric of the Islamists themselves!
    Besides, the Crusades were in reality countercrusades. They were the Christian

to hundreds of years of Muslim aggression, atrocities, and land grabs. Which side is this president on?
    Any other nation would have impeached him a long time ago. After having let the entire world down by not attending the march for free speech in France, following the
Charlie Hebdo
murders, any other nation would have impeached him. He didn’t even send Joe Biden or John Kerry, who speaks French. There was a message sent by this administration to the Islamists, to the Muslim Brotherhood, saying something. What was he saying to them?
    For that matter, why didn’t Boehner attend the rally? We can criticize the president, as we should. He skips intelligence briefings. He will not engage with Congress. Heignores his Cabinet. But there’s enough blame to go around. Boehner should have stepped up to show what the leader of an opposition party does when a president embarrasses the nation and lets down the entire world. We don’t have an opposition party.
    We have a crippled, passive, cowardly government at every level. All of the Pentagon social media accounts have been hacked by ISIS. ISIS has posted the names and addresses of the U.S. generals, their families, and their children. They’ve said, “American soldiers, we’re coming. Watch your backs.” Why can ISIS, a ragtag army that Obama called “the JV team,” penetrate the Pentagon’s cybersecurity?
    Maybe it’s because the Pentagon has been watching the Tea Party instead of ISIS. Along with Dianne Feinstein, they’ve been monitoring
