back, tasting of sweat and sea.
His hard length rubbed at my stomach and I wrapped a clumsy fist around him, reveling in the way Bjorn’s body bucked into my touch. His ass clenched, wringing me of every last shiver—
I cried out, swept off my feet in the last steps of the dance. Bjorn clutched me into a moaned kiss as he spilled over my belly and chest. I collapsed on him, and his arms tightened around me. “Not goodbye,” he said at the base of my ear.
I sucked in the warm, spicy scent of him. “Lights above, if this were a game . . .” I propped myself on my arms and looked into his eyes, dark and fringed with hope. I’ll win the ones that bare you, inside and out. Let go. “You’ve won.”
His breath caught, but he still held hope captive.
“There’s no trickery here, Aaron. No more cheating; I play a straight game. Let me lay out my cards. You mesmerized me with your voice, enthralled me with your charm, frustrated me no end with your wit, humor, fierce adventurous nature. You make me want to see how much I can make you grin, make you laugh, make you jolt, make you cry out my name. I want you. I need you, Aaron.” He twisted us, pinning me to the bed. “Lay your cards.”
I lifted onto my elbows and bumped our noses together. “Teach me to fly the high seas, Bjorn. Take me with you. Take me everywhere and every day,” I grinned and pressed my hot, sticky skin against his, “and every way you want.” He lifted to kiss me again, and I slipped a finger between our lips. “One more thing.”
“What’s that?” Bjorn asked, lips tickling my skin.
I smiled. “It was not just a dance.”
