Turk. Very few people saw that side of Turk’s abilities, they only saw what it could do for them. After rinsing and stacking their dishes in the dishwasher, they all went into the living room.
    “I need to get going pretty soon, guys, so which one of you is coming to the office with me?” Just like that, no quarrel, no argument, just acceptance.
    “Why are you giving in so easily, baby? What do you have up your sleeve?” Kane asked.
    “I made a promise to Joe and Helen that I would let you two protect me, and I’ll listen to whatever you say regarding my safety. As much as it’s going to irritate the shit out of me, I never go back on a promise. But you have to let me do my job at work. There’s a lot to do, and I can’t have either of you trying to stop me from doing something. At work, I’m the new boss. I have to earn these people’s respect, and if you’re coddling me all the time, that will never happen.”

There may come a time, however, when it might become necessary. You’ve just come back into my life, and there is no fucking way you’re getting away again.”
    Kane pulled her into his arms and lowered his mouth to hers. The moment their lips touched, fireworks exploded in his brain, and his cock was instantly rock-hard.
