Reaching her feet, he waited for her to step out of them and tossed them aside. Stroking fingers up her legs gently, he stood slowly. “Beautiful,” he whispered softly.
“I truly feel beautiful standing here, your eyes and hands touching my body as they are.” Caressing me, loving me. “I love you, Aiden. I really and truly love you,” she told him gently. “For now and for all time, I love you, honey.” She truly did. She loved him fully, completely. “Now, food.”
Growling softly, he smiled. “I love a woman with priorities,” he murmured. Taking her hand, he kissed her fingers and guided her toward the kitchen. He was hungry. Too many days without a full meal really sucked ass. He’d eaten in his Dragon form but really, it wasn’t as satisfying as eating in his human form. Inhaling as they entered the room, he licked his lips. “Something smells delicious,” he commented and then looked at her. “The food smells not half-bad either,” Aiden rasped out huskily.
That had her grinning and she winked at him. “You sweet-talker you,” she teased. She was happy though. She was so very happy that he was as attracted to her as she was to him. “God, I have got to be the luckiest girl in the world, to have a man like you who loves me as much as you love me. Yep, I’m very lucky.”
“As am I, darling,” he assured her honestly. Smiling, he stroked his hand up her spine gently. “I’ll even show you just how much I love you in a bit, but first I need energy. So we should eat and then we can slide back into bed and I will have my dessert.”
Chapter Seven
Their meal had been delicious. She had eaten more of the potatoes while he had all but devoured the meat that she had cooked all day long in the crock pot. It was perfectly fine with her, truth be known. She loved veggies, so that was all good. Finally now she sat in front of him, nervous as all get out because she had no idea what was next. “I really have no experience in this, Aiden. I don’t know how to seduce or be sexy or anything like that. Can you help me?”
Smiling, he shook his head at her. “You don’t have to try, love,” he whispered. “You are sexy as hell, darling. You don’t have to seduce me either. You have already.” Shifting, he reached out and pulled her to sit straddling his lap. “Darling, we’ve spent every waking and sleeping minute together for the last twenty or so days. We’ve talked about pretty much everything and anything. Why are you nervous, sweetheart? Honestly,” he added as he watched her with curiosity.
“Because you are so big,” she blurted out bluntly. “Aiden, you are huge, honey. I’m terrified that you won’t fit. What happens then?” she asked him softly. “I love you, and God, I need and want you, but what if you can’t fit inside of me because I didn’t have others first? I can’t just go out and sleep with others so that you are able to fit inside of me, so what happens?”
Growling at the mere suggestion of her prostituting herself out or letting other men touch her, he drew her in closer. “We were chosen to be the other’s bond-mates. We will fit, sweetheart. Because I’m your first”— hip-hip-fucking-hooray! —“it might be a little uncomfortable and there could possibly be pain when we break your hymen, but we will work together and fit together, little love.” Pressing his lips to her cheek, he breathed her in. “Trust in me, angel, please?”
Nodding, she took in a deep breath and nodded. “All right,” she murmured. “I trust you, Aiden, and if you think that we will fit together then I know that we will. I love you and you love me. I know you would never do anything that would hurt me.” Which was the truth. “So we will take it slow?”
“As slow as you want to move,” he promised with a smile. Cupping her face, he kissed her gently. “We will loosen you up, get you all relaxed and needy, and then we will come together slowly and carefully. Then
