the folders on the desk and put them in a filing cabinet. I wasn't sure how this was a helpful skill for a stripper, but I suppose d it wasn't for me to wonder. After all, I didn't really know what this club was about. It was the best-kept secret on the planet.
I picked up the first files and had a quick peek inside to see if Maria or anyone else had left any clues inside. I was about to open the filing cabinet when I heard the door open and the light went off. My heart started pounding. I’d known he couldn't resist me. Greyson had come to take me.
I stood there , waiting patiently, unable to see a thing as the room was pitch black. I realized that he was waiting for me to go to him, so I walked slowly in the area of the door.
"You came ," I whispered as I walked across the room. I could hear him breathing, and a shiver of lust ran down my spine.
He didn't respond , so I continued towards him. My hand touched him first and he pulled me towards him. His fingers clasped my waist tightly and my breasts crushed into his chest. I ran my fingers down his chest, and his hand reached up and pulled my hair. I moaned as I felt his lips crushing down on mine, and his fingers roughly squeezed my ass.
It was then that two things happened that filled me with shock. I breathed in his smell and realized that something was off. It didn't smell like Greyson. And then I heard his voice.
"Brandon, it's Greyson. You need to get down here. There's a new girl and she's asking questions. We may have a problem."
I froze as I realized that Greyson was out in the hallway. That meant he wasn't in the room with me. That meant that I wasn't kissing and being kissed by him. That meant that the man whose paws were all over me wasn't Greyson.
I pulled away quickly and was about to scream when a hand flew to my mouth.
"I advise you to keep quiet, Meg." His voice was deep , and I swallowed hard.
He'd just confirmed something else to me. This wasn't a case of mistaken identity . Whoever was with me had known I was going to be in this room. The man I was with knew exactly who I was and I had absolutely no idea who he was.
