And just so you know, generally, if it feels illegal, it usually is.”
“There are these insurance policies that they are collecting the interest off of. I’ve been noticing the same amounts being deposited into their account for a few weeks now. Can they do that?”
“Yes, of course. A lot of firms set up these accounts or have the customer set them up so that when they die, there is some money they can use to pay the firm’s legal fees.
I’ve seen a couple of them exceed the amount of the policy and then it goes into the estate at the time of death,” Ronnie said.
“Yeah, but if their dead, what then?”
“Well, then the next firm would take the monies and do the same thing. There is usually a waiver in the policy in case that happens. But normally, the lawyer’s estate will take care of that.”
“No, I mean what if the policy holder is dead, as in has been for some time, and the money is still coming to the firm from the account?” Taylor heard Ronnie draw in a deep breath. Taylor closed her eyes and waited for the blast—telling her that she was jumping to conclusions and that she needed to stop looking for problems when there were none. But Ronnie didn’t do that.
“Taylor, you need to bring me what you have. The company you’re working for is committing insurance fraud. And if you have anything to do with the accounts, including knowledge, when the Feds step in, you’re going to jail with them. How sure are you that this is going on, and how deep are they?”

“Deep, as up the creek without a paddle and the boat has a big hole in it. I don’t want to go to prison. I have...I...I’m going to be sick. You have to...can you tell me where I can go to get rid of this stuff?”
“I’m sending Devin for you right now. And don’t you dare argue with me. Bring everything you have right now.”
“No, I can’t. They...your family won’t like that I’m bringing this to you too. Let me have the name of someone you think will help me and I’ll go there now. Please?”
“You’ve already involved me, Taylor. If you don’t let me help you, I’m going to prison too. Where are you? Neither Devin nor I will tell a soul where you are or that we talked to you.”
“I’m at the Y on Tenth.”
Devin didn’t say much when he helped her into his SUV some thirty minutes later.
He simply put her backpack into the trunk and drove them to the hospital. Taylor felt as if she was going to her execution and Devin and his wife were the executioners.

    ~CHAPTER 8~
Byron watched the room before him. The people playing were enjoying themselves, yet he couldn’t bring himself to join them. Several women, all Subs, were fucking each other and a man lying on the bed beneath them. He had one female spread across his face as he feasted on her pussy, another on his cock pumping up and down while she suckled on the pussy of a woman straddled over the man’s chest in front of her. There was a fourth woman who was on her knees to his right finger fucking herself as she went back and forth between the two women at his cock. It should have been something Byron would have joined in on. His cock ached and he was hard as stone, but all he could think about was the woman back home.
“If you’re thinking of getting out of the game, I’ll buy all your clubs at whatever the asking price is.” Byron looked at the man standing to his left, both shocked and intrigued by his generous offer. Marc Davidoff was a very good friend he had met in college.
When they had graduated, Marc moved back to Paris to be with his family to work in the vineyard. They had kept in touch over the years and whenever either of them was close enough to visit, they made sure that the club was open to them as well. Marc had been the one to introduce Byron to the Dom/Sub world.
“No, not selling. Though if I do, I’ll let you know. I have something else on my mind tonight.”
“Well, since I know it’s not your lack of
