weight, enfolding him in her arms. She kissed the column of his neck, her pussy still throbbing around his length.
At least she hadn’t had another vision. After that first time, she’d been scared to death it might happen every time he came inside her.
Bad. That would be so bad, because he was so good. Maybe good enough to suffer through a vision as often as they fucked, because she imagined this was only the tip of the iceberg for them.

Chapter Four
The sun was just beginning to set by the time they made it out of the bedroom. Caelan eyeballed the meager contents of Tieran’s refrigerator looking for anything that would knock out some of his hunger. For food anyway. Besides the literal mountain of Mountain Dew, one of which she was chugging like water at the table behind him, and a few condiments, there wasn’t much.
“So what happens now?” she asked.
Screw it. He’d order a pizza. Or three. If tonight went anything like this afternoon, he’d need nourishment in the morning too. He closed the refrigerator door with a thump and faced his mate.
“Now we talk about your ability. And we stay away from each other, because if I touch you, I’m going to fuck you.”
Crossing her legs, she groaned and threw her already empty green can toward the trash. In that direction, at least. It bounced off the wall about two feet away and clanked to the floor.
He quirked an eyebrow at her. His feisty mate was prone to clumsiness. The corners of his lips twitched. It would be his pleasure to follow in her footsteps, protecting her from life’s little accidents.
She shrugged as if to say it was a normal occurrence for her and she didn’t care.
“Talk.” He made his prompt a command by stabbing a finger in her direction.
“Anybody ever tell you you’re like a dog with a bone?”
He snorted. “A wolf, my own, much better than a dog.”
“Whatever. Did you know that shape-shifting is a category of psychic ability?”
“No shit? Then why did you have such a hard time believing me?”
“Because it’s just really weird, and actually, I’ve never heard of anyone doing it for real.”
“Hmm,” he acknowledged. “I happen to think what you do is really weird too, so I guess we’re even.”
    “I’m not weird,” she muttered.
“Quit diverting the subject and talk.” He picked up the phone book and searched the pizza listings for something in the area. “But first, I’m ordering a pizza. What kind of toppings do you like?”
“Are you implying I have nothing in the house to eat?”
“That’s exactly what I’m saying.” He grinned. “You have crusty, old mustard and something that may have been considered Chinese at one time. Uh-uh. Won’t cut it for me, baby.”
She sniffed. “There would have been more, but I believe it’s still scattered around my foyer.” She stood, displaying those incredibly sexy legs beneath his T-shirt she was wearing, and Caelan’s dick stirred. “Pepperoni.”
He cleared his throat and turned away from the sight of her. “That’s it?” Damn it. Nothing like a cracking voice to give yourself away.
“What else is there?” she asked, as if pepperoni was the only logical pizza topping.
“Oh, I don’t know, hamburger, green peppers, sausage, onions…”
“Did you want me to kiss you later?”
“Abso-fucking-lutely.” Dropping the phone book to the counter, he grabbed her shoulders and tugged her close. “You’ll kiss me now.” Her lips were cool beneath his and tasted of the soda she’d just downed.
She ground her mouth on his, darting her tongue in and out before pulling away breathlessly. “You said no touching.”
“Then don’t tempt me, my own.”
“All right, damn it. You’ve been calling me that all day. Where the hell does it come from?” She had her head tilted and was looking at him like he’d grown horns.
He hadn’t meant to let the endearment slip out the first time, but it had and now he couldn’t stop saying it. She was
