“Stacia! You’re rambling. Calm down.” She ’s not inherently chatty, but when she’s nervous it’s hard to stop her rant.
“I can’t. I’m worried about you. Can’t you just get the information from the safe and forget you ever met Jude?”
“Even if I do get the information—though I’m not sure I want to anymore—it’ll take time.”
“You’ve gotten into safes before. Mason taught you how.”
“Yes, but I haven’t even seen Jude’s safe yet. I can’t get into all of them. His may be a challenge.”
“You’re stalling. I know it.” She crosses her arms and taps her foot on the floor.
“I know why you’re worried. Shit, I’m worried too. Just give me a little time, and I’ll figure out what I’m going to do.”
She shakes her head and gazes at me with worried eyes. “You’re all I’ve got. Mason won’t let you betray him again.”
“And you’re all I have.” I wrap my arm around her and hug her hard, even though she doesn’t return it. “I’ll figure something out.”

Chapter Eleven
    Jude

She steps from her car as my car pulls up behind. She’s wearing jeans and a T-shirt with her long, blonde hair pulled into a tight ponytail, but she still manages to look fantastic.
“Sorry I’ m late, but at least I brought dinner.” Shit, did I just say that? Feels like I turned into a married man in a matter of hours. I need to stop thinking about how great it feels to look forward to coming home to someone.
She hurries into the living room and grabs the control as I fix our plates. She barely notices the food when I put it down in front of her, and that’s the moment I realize what’s got her so captivated.
“You watch The Walking Dead too?”
She looks at me wide-eyed and asks, “You watch this?”
“It’s probably the only show I watch.”
We eat, talk, and watch the show as if we’ve done it a hundred times before. An hour later, the show is over, and we both lay our heads against the back of the sofa, gazing at each other quietly. I reach out and run my fingers through her silky hair.
“You’re so beautiful,” I whisper, moving in closer. My lips are inches from her , and I can feel her elevated breaths against my face. Her eyes lower, lips part slightly. I’m sure the passion in her eyes is reflected in mine, but as I lean in to kiss her, she backs away.
She jumps to her feet . “So are you going to let me see the last two rooms you’re hiding downstairs?”
Odd how she’s willing to let me have her any way I want downstairs but pulls back when I try to kiss her. I guess I deserved that. The first night in the hotel she was open to kissing, but I shut her out.
“ I’ll let you see one of the rooms. I’ve never used it before.”
“ Really?” She turns her head to look at me as I rise from the coach.
“ Uh-huh, you’re my first” I reach out and push her hair behind her ear.
“ I’m flattered,” she says, voice raspy. “I’ll meet you downstairs.” She turns and walks to the kitchen.
I can only hope she won’t hold that kiss against me for long. No matter how this started out, I want more from her now, and I intend to get it.

“No, I’m not getting on that. What if I fall?”
“You won’t.” Jude casu ally takes off his remaining clothes, placing them on a chair.
“The strength of your thrust alone will cause that swing to snap off the ceiling.”
He stops behind me, wrapping a hand around my waist. “Trust me,” he whispers into my ear.
His erection presses against my back. He slips his fingers between my legs. A few clever strokes and I melt into him. I’ll jump onto anything right now as long as I know I’ll get to have his strong body pounding into mine.
There are straps to support my back and right beneath my butt. The straps for my legs leave me wide open and at his mercy, which is becoming very common between us. Sexually he always controls everything , and I wonder what it would
