time. But that wasn’t possible. After a few moments the heat subsided.
“It is done,” he said, strain showing on his handsome face.
    “What’s done?”
“This,” Ares surged forward embedding himself completely in Jac’s tight sheath.
Jac screamed when she felt her hymen tear. Pain shot through her and she couldn’t seem to catch her breath. It was impossible—no way in hell. She hadn’t been a virgin since her eighteenth birthday party, but there was no mistaking the pain coming from deep inside her. Ares was so large she thought he might have split her in two, her breathing sounded as if she attended a Lamaze class. There had to be a logical explanation, but her mind refused to wrap itself around the idea.
“W—what did you do?” she sputtered out, straining to rise. Jac pushed against his chest.
Ares held himself perfectly still. “I know not what you speak of, my fierceness.”
    “V-virgin…I’m not a v-virgin…I mean, I wa-wasn’t…when we started this.”
    “I healed you… all of you .”
Jac dropped her head back onto the ground. “Remind me to kill you later.”
Ares grinned and then rotated his hips. Jac moaned. He repeated the action until the pain subsided and she was lost. His thrusts grew more frantic, animalistic, his need all consuming, feral. He drove into her wet channel. Her vaginal walls gripped him, pulling Ares back, refusing to let him leave.
His cock pounded into Jac, rocking her, turning her inside out until she balled up into a twisting mass of feelings, emotions—vague impressions.
His thrusts turned frenzied. He reached down and tilted Jac’s hips, so that he could delve deeper still. The muscles in his neck corded. His hands heated, sending an energy burst into her clit.
Jac came so hard stars burst behind her eyelids.
Ares tossed his head back and grit his teeth as he joined her. His seed spilled from his body, filling her channel, his hips continuing to pump, long after his fluids had stopped. Her tunnel felt like fire, wrapping his cock in such volcanic warmth, that he thought he’d be permanently molded to her. All his instincts told him to fuck her again, until he’d driven from her mind every last thought of leaving him.
With a last shudder, Ares reluctantly slipped from Jac’s molten core, then rolled over, pulling her on top of him. He ran a callused finger over her forehead, trying to rub away the frown forming on her pale face. Ares brushed his hand through her silky hair, their bodies drenched in sweat.
“You truly are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I am honored to have you as my mate.”
Jac swallowed hard. She didn’t trust herself to speak. The experience had been so wonderful that she didn’t want to ruin it by telling him they weren’t meant to be. She definitely wasn’t the mate type, whatever that was. Jac didn’t have the heart to break it to him.
A lump formed in her throat and she fisted her hands. Damn it. I’m not the sappy, cry over a poignant commercial kind of gal. I don’t even get emotionally involved. If this big oaf has mistaken sex for something more, then that’s his problem, not mine.
It was time she remembered the reason she’d come down to this hellhole in the first place. Jac was on a rescue mission, not a sexcapade. She needed to remember that—and fast. Rachel was counting on Jac to help her and she wasn’t about to let her friend down, plus she owed the professor a big one. Jac wasn’t one for vigilantism, but sometimes desperate times called for desperate measures.
Ares followed all Jac’s thoughts as they raced from one end of the spectrum to the other. He didn’t like eavesdropping in anyone’s mind, but it was imperative for the taming that he knew what Jac thought. She would be the guide for his next move. He was glad she chose not to submit so easily, it gave him more time to coax her surrender. He felt a stab in the vicinity of his heart when she thought of her friend Rachel.
