as it shattered over his chest. Logan took off running, Colin following as they scooped up snow and proceeded to drench each other.
    Colin laughed so hard he could barely breathe when Logan tripped and went sprawling. He followed him down, smushing him into the snow. He kissed his face, skin like ice against his lips.
    “I’m going to see you soon,” he said.
    Logan’s arms wrapped around him once more, squeezing him through his parka. “I’m holding you to that.”
