silky cock is huge in my hand as I guide him into me. He drives in and thrusts quickly. So close to my climax, I urge him to go hard and fast. Trembling with my release, I milk the thick length of him until he quakes in an orgasm, too.
He pulls himself away from me, and breath whooshes out of his mouth as he speaks to me in his head. "Jesus Christ, that makes things easier. I'm Ashton, your true mate."
I chuckle softly. "Yeah, I didn’t see that coming. Thank you."
Ashton's grinning, but his voice in my head is stern. "Get dressed in dark clothing. We need to get out of here."
In less than a minute, I'm ready to follow him anywhere he wants to go. We move quickly to the basement, and I shudder when we pass the cage where Carly was kept.
Ashton must be talking to Keith in his head because when he boosts me up to the ground level window, it's Keith's hands that pull me through.
I no longer have the ability to speak to Keith telepathically as I did when we were mates, but I wouldn't know what to say if I could. The last time we spoke, I broke up with him, knowing I was going to confront Victor. He gives me a quick hug, and for now, that's enough. Getting out of here alive is more important.
I breathe deeply and savor the fresh air, which I haven't encountered in over a week. Ashton leads me past a slumped figure I guess must be one of the guards. The grass muffles our steps, but I'm anxious to become a bear, knowing how much faster I could move. The moment we enter the woods behind Victor's house, Ashton orders me to shift. We don't bother to strip, and fabric shreds when I become a bear. My adrenaline kicks in.
We take off through the woods, and I follow Ashton as Keith flanks me. My strong legs propel me at a speed that boggles my human mind. Out of the corner of my eye, a flash of black lunges toward me, and fear sends power to my limbs as I rise up on two legs to defend myself. Keith blocks the guard, and Ashton yells at me, "Keep running!"
My front feet thump back down to the forest floor as the roar and clashing of fighting bears rings in my ears. I push the anguish for Keith back as I focus on moving as fast as my body can.
My muscles are burning, and I'm struggling to keep up.
Ashton says, "Hang on. We're almost safe. You can do it."
Every inch of me is screaming for oxygen, and I don't know how much longer I can keep running. I stumble and am about to land on my face when Ashton magically breaks my fall.
"I'll slow down. We're almost there."
His kind words make me push through the pain, and I keep moving as quickly as I can. When I see a cave entrance, I lunge with my last bit of energy and fall to the ground.
Ashton lifts me into his arms and walks deeper into the dark underground. I'm so tired, I want to cry, and my worry for Keith is strong. "Ashton, what about Keith?"
"Brady was on his way to help, and they'll communicate with us soon. He'll be fine. He’s trained for this."
The air in the dark space is humid but not cold as we move farther in. The passage has become too narrow for us, and Ashton sets me down. He says, "We need to shift back."
The popping and crunching of our bones echo off the moist walls as we become human again. Ashton takes my hand without a word and leads me forward. It's too dark to see, but a dim light is ahead, and I can't help imagining what his ass looks like as it flexes in front of me.
Brady's voice comes through. "Keith, Taylor, and I are home. Are you safe?"
I reply, "Yes. Taylor? Did she become a werebear?”
And I hear Ashton's answer. "We found a cave. We'll stay until I think it's okay to leave."
Carly's voice breaks through. "Sierra! Oh my God, I'm so glad you’re free. You're the craziest best friend ever, and I love you."
Realization that I’ll see Carly again rushes through me. "I love you, too."
There's so much I want to tell her, but it’s going to have to wait. Ashton and I have entered a small opening with moonlight filtering through a crevice in
