stairs. Abel signals him with his fingers that we’ll take two, and takes out his wallet. “From the station. My battalion chief had them and asked if I wanted them.”
“Any time he has extra tickets, I’m down to go.”
He hands me my beer, and kisses behind my ear. “I plan on taking you to a lot more games.”
I lean into him and rest my free hand on his thigh. “I want you bad,” I whisper.
He pulls the skin on my neck into his mouth, sucking hard, instantly making me wet. “Remember, we’re going to take it slow tonight. Be patient, kitten.”
I pull away from him and look into his sexy, hazel eyes. He’s still leaning over, his elbow resting on the armrest between our seats. I stick out my bottom lip and do my best to pout. Abel grabs the back of my head, gently pulling me towards him, biting my lip. “Patience, okay?”
I kiss him, then the crowd cheers and everyone stands as the first batter up heads to home plate. We do the same, and I see the Diamondbacks are all scattered across the field and ready to play. I set my beer down to whistle and clap, as some of the other fans cheer behind me. Abel looks at me and shakes his head, taking a swig of his beer.
Todd Helton is up first for the Rockies. He’s a good hitter and their first baseman. He has had a ton of home runs in his career and we have to use caution when pitching to him. Sitting back down, I can tell Abel is staring at me as I lean forward, watching intently. My stomach is in knots. As soon as the pitcher throws the ball, it’s a strike. He makes this look easy. Another two pitches and he strikes Helton out. Next up for the Rockies is their outfielder. He’s a lefty and I know this won’t be a problem. One throw and he whacks the ball, popping it high in the air. Our centerfielder waves that he’s got it and catches it easily. Next up and hopefully last for the Rockies is their third baseman. Three pitches later, he strikes out. I jump and scream, high-fiving the Diamondbacks fan next to me. I turn to Abel and lean down kissing him, not caring who sees us in that moment of excitement.
“We are so going to annihilate you guys.”
He chuckles at me. “Wanna bet on that?”
“Absolutely,” I say and sit back down.
“If your team wins, then you can do anything you want to me in bed. But if my team wins, then you’re at my mercy.”
I immediately reach my hand out and shake his. That’s an easy bet; I already told him he can do whatever he wants to me. A sly smile extends across his face. “Don’t be so quick to shake. You might regret it later.”
I turn my attention back to the game, because I know I won’t. For me, it’s a win-win. The game progresses at a quick pace, and before I know it, we are at the bottom of the ninth inning. The crowd is all on their feet, as the Rockies try and strike out the Diamondbacks’ catcher. The bases are loaded, and there are two outs, and the score is tied. As the Rockies pitch, the Diamondbacks’ catcher smacks the ball. The runner on third heads home and slides into base.
I turn to Abel and he has a smug grin on his face. “Why are you smirking at me?” I ask.
“To be honest, I’m excited to see what you have in mind for our bet.”
I lean down and whisper in his ear, “You’ll have to wait and see.”

I’m standing in Abel’s bathroom, naked and staring at myself in the mirror. I know we agreed to try and take things slow tonight, but I don’t know if I can do that, and I think our bet makes it null and void for tonight. Besides, neither of us has ever had slow sex, but I suppose it wouldn’t hurt to try.
Since I’m in charge, I decide to wing things and let what happens happen. As I exit the bathroom, Abel isn’t in the bedroom. I walk quietly into the living room and still nothing. I look out onto his patio and there he is. His back is to me and he’s leaning over the railing. At that moment it hits me what I want to do, so I turn off all the lights
