daughter.”
“No, but she gets attached to one of the men, we’re all in fucking trouble.” Joker cursed. He didn’t want Amy to hear him and so he made his way downstairs, moving toward the back porch off the kitchen. “I bet she’s some pampered princess who’s used to getting what she wants. Fuck, when do you need me up there?”
“Tonight. He wants his daughter back pretty soon,” Demon said. “Look, he’s given you Amy’s dad and we’re all clear on everything. We pick his daughter up and we’re pretty fucking even. It’s all business from here on in.”
“I don’t know. We keep doing this kind of shit and it’s going to go wrong.”
“Look, it’s a simple thing. We pick the girl up, drop her at her dad’s and we’re all fine,” Demon said. “I don’t want to leave Deanna for long. She’s still getting the hang of club life.”
An idea sprung up in Joker’s mind. “Do you think I could bring Amy over while we do this? It’ll be good for her and Deanna to get to know one another.”
“Do you think she’s ready for that?”
“I don’t have much of a choice really. If I don’t get her used to it then she’ll never be. I won’t stay for long after we make this run. In fact, why don’t I come up with Amy and then Deanna can go with Amy back to my dad’s place? I’ll clear it with Dad for them both to be here. It’ll get both of them out of the clubhouse for a while.” Joker liked the idea of Amy having someone to talk to that wasn’t in with the club. Deanna was Demon’s old lady but hadn’t grown up in the club life.
“Sure. I’ll talk with Deanna. It’ll be interesting to see if the two women get along.”
“Great. I’ll be there shortly. I just have to a call my dad.”
He hung up after Demon said his goodbyes. Putting a call through to his dad, he gave him the heads up about what was going to happen.
“Do you really think Amy’s ready for that kind of involvement?”
“I’m only going to take her to get used to it. Afterward, she and Deanna will be coming back here. I don’t want her on her own right now. I promise you, Pop, Deanna is safe all the way. She won’t cause any stress to Amy.”
“If you think this is what Amy needs then sure, go ahead. I trust you, Son.”
    “Thanks, Dad. I appreciate it.”
    “Son?”
    “Yeah, Dad?”
“I’ve missed you and I can’t think of anyone better to take care of Amy.”
Joker felt a lump from in his throat. Out of all the men in his life, the only one he wanted to impress was his father. Demon was his friend, and all the MC men were important to him, but nothing meant more to him than family. “Love you, Dad.”
“Love you too, Son. Brenda, she’d have been proud of what you’ve done for Amy.”
“Even with Bruce?” He fisted his hand, almost unable to complete the bastard’s name.
“Yes. It doesn’t really matter because I’m proud of you.”
Glancing behind him, he saw Amy in the kitchen.
    “I’ve got to go.”
Hanging up the phone, he sent a quick text to Demon to let him know his father was okay with Deanna stopping by. Entering the kitchen, he saw Amy looking through the cupboards. She wore a summer dress that showed off the fact she wasn’t wearing any underwear. The material was sheer and his cock was hard instantly. He wasn’t wearing a shirt and had grabbed a pair of sweats while Amy was in shower before returning Demon’s call.
    “Did your call go okay?”
“Yeah, there’s something I want to talk to you about.”
“Can you talk while I make pancakes? I’m starving. I’ve also got bacon, are you good with that?”
“Yeah, load me up woman.” Joker took a seat at the counter, watching her work. “Demon called. He’s president of the Soldiers of Wrath.”
“I know. You’ve told me before; you must think I ignore you.” She smiled at him.
“You’re right,” he chuckled. “Anyway, he needs me to take care of some business and I can’t ignore it. I’ve got to
