willing to walk away from this chance to do something different.
She wanted to be daring. She wanted to be the center of the universe for once in her life.
At some point, Josh had made his way behind her. His breath was warm on her shoulder as his hands circled her waist.
“It’s okay to not know the rules, or even the game for that matter.” Josh’s voice was smooth where Paul’s had been rough. “The only thing you need to be concerned with is giving in to what you want.”
Nodding, she finished the rest of her wine. The warm burn in the pit of her stomach would soon spread through her body, softening her reservations. “I know what I want.”
Paul lowered his chin, his gaze narrowing on her, but he held his tongue. Josh freed her of the glass, setting it on the floor, and crowded in behind her.
“Knowing what you want is only part of it. Paul knows what he wants too, but he isn’t taking it. He’s waiting. What do you think he’s waiting for?”
“Me.” But she couldn’t understand why.
“That’s right.” Josh pulled her hips back, moving her ass until it came in contact with his cock. “He wants you and you want him.”
Paul’s gaze shifted up and she knew he was speaking to Josh. “What do you want?”
The chuckle against her ear was more of a turn-on than Sadie would have realized. Josh licked the shell of her ear and bucked his hips forward.
    “I want you both.”

Chapter Six

Paul’s hands twitched at his sides and Sadie couldn’t be sure if he was nervous or anxious. He took a step forward, but Sadie was surprised when Josh pulled her back, moving them both away from Paul.
“What the fuck?” Paul tried again, only to be met with the same result.
“Stay.” The teasing tone had Sadie wishing she could see Josh’s face. “She said she doesn’t know the rules of the game.”
    “Josh—”
“No, this is her game and her rules. It’s only fair.” She could tell the teasing was turning Josh on as much as it frustrated Paul. “Stay there until Sadie tells you what to do.”
Turning her head as best she could, she tried to catch a glimpse of Josh. “I don’t understand.”
“He wants you badly enough he’ll do anything you want. It’s simple. What do you want him to do?”
She’d already had more of Paul than she ever imagined. But it was only a taste, a sample of what she wanted. She reached back and moved her hands to hold onto Josh. “I want him to take his shirt off.”
“Don’t tell me.” He nodded toward Paul. “Like the game.”
Sadie licked her lips and ignored the way her chest tightened. She wasn’t sure if she had it in her to participate in a threesome. Fuck, she didn’t know if she had any talent when it came to the whole sex thing.
But a game? That she could do.
“Paul, I want you to unbutton your shirt.”
He went to lift his hands but suddenly stopped and they fell back to his sides. “Sadie, may I?”
She could feel Josh’s smile against her neck. “See, he’s a smart boy too.”
Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. “Yes, you may.”
This time Paul didn’t stop. One by one he slipped the buttons free from their holes, slowly exposing his chest. Sadie couldn’t remember the last time she’d seen him without a shirt. Maybe a few summers ago when they’d all gone to Mia’s cottage.
That was different, casual—a lifetime ago. Now his muscles were taut, like he was about to pounce, rip her away from Josh’s hold and fuck her in the middle of the room. The expression on his face was one she couldn’t remember seeing before—dark and hungry, directed at her.
Paul pulled his hands free from the shirt with a yank and tossed it aside. His nipples were hard in the cool air of the room, barely visible through the dusting of hair that covered his chest. When he squeezed his hands into fists, the muscles of his forearms tightened, pulling his pecs in an appealing ripple.
Sadie had forgotten how fit he was. How slim his waist and firm his
