you are the prettiest little Tigger in the world?” I stop next to her swaying side to side.
“Thank you for that.” Her eyes look teary and that tugs at something in me. I don’t know what because I’m too fucked up right now but there is something there.
“Perfect.” I lean in and kiss her cheek before she grabs my arm and leads me towards the hallway.
“Laney, do you know that you mean a lot to me?” I know my words surprise her, I fucking surprised myself.
“You mean a lot to me too Gavin. Go to sleep.” Pushing me towards my room, I go in and fall face first on the bed.

                                   Laney
Standing in this shower there isn’t enough hot water to wash away last night. I tried to keep my wits while dealing with a drunken Gavin but after seeing the blonde bimbo on her knees I almost lost it.
When Gavin made her leave, I heard every word even the ones that I’m sure he doesn’t remember saying to me.
Rinsing my hair, I hear people talking in the living room and I hope to all hell tramp isn’t back. I don’t know how to look at her now that I’ve seen her with only a dick in her mouth. It just won’t work out for me.
Climbing out, I dry quickly and still hear the screams. It’s a woman’s voice mixed with Gavin’s and what sounds like Sean’s. I hurriedly put on my clothes and towel dry my hair before stepping into the hallway trying to get a quick peak and frankly I forgot where I left my phone. I try to be quick before anyone sees me but that backfires as soon as I hear Sean’s voice call my name. Shit shit shit.
“Laney!” Turing around with a slight smile I see Sean with an older woman. She’s beautiful and her face I’ve seen before.
“Hey Sean.” Trying to keep my cool I want to place where I know this lady from. She is so familiar.
“Can you come in here please? You live here so this concerns you too.” Oh shit that doesn’t sound good at all.
I walk slowly into the living room as the woman eyes me up and down. I just smile politely.
“What’s going on?” I ask Sean as Gavin sits on the couch looking extremely pissed off.
“Drunken idiot over there seems to have gotten himself into trouble. Did you hear anything last night?” I glance back over at Gavin but his look never changes.
“No, but I went to bed pretty early.” Sean shakes his head as does the woman.
“You didn’t see anyone else here?” Oh shit! That chick is getting him in trouble. I almost want to laugh especially if that was his mom standing here. The idea of it all almost makes me laugh.
“Oh yeah, his girlfriend from the club was here.” Gavin sighs on the couch like a big baby that was just scolded for spilling his food. I look between them all confused.
“Let me introduce myself. I’m Tammy Brady, Gavin and Sean’s mother.” With her manicured hand extended, I take it in mine. Tammy Brady? Tammy Brady? I know that name. Then it hits me.
My eyebrows shoot into my hair line as I stare at her with my mouth open.
“Senator Brady?” my eyes stay on hers as she smiles.
“That’s me. It’s nice to meet you.” I see the disgusted look on Gavin’s face as his mother lights up with the acknowledgement of me knowing who she is. There is a nice rift going on between the two of them.
“Nice to meet you as well. I didn’t realize we were having company.”  I smile as she eyes me over taking me in, reading me. There isn’t much there to read but she seems to be doing a good job at it.
“I didn’t either until I got a phone call from a lawyer friend of mine saying my ignorant son assaulted that woman last night.” Her eyes shoot to Gavin’s but he remains a stone. He doesn’t move or speak which seems out of character for him.
“That’s why we wondered if you heard or saw anything.” Sean speaks up now pulling my attention to him. Shaking my head, this doesn’t make sense.
“No, I mean I know they were together they damn near
