Phoenix cleaned them both up once they got back into the bedroom. Wade was very quiet and didn ' t seem like he wanted to do much talking. Phoenix tucked him into the soft bed and told him to take a nap. Phoenix left the bedroom and stood in the kitchen a few minutes later , making himself a cup of coffee when Zack walked in. Zack smiled at him and patted him on the back.
" I gotta tell you, Ivan, that scene with the kid today was amazing. You should see how our members are reacting to him just in the last hour. The chat room is abuzz with interest on the new kid. It seems your beautiful young boy is a real hit on the internet and if the members keep talking like this, our memberships are going to go through the roof . " Phoenix smiled. He ' d expected no less. He knew the kid would be a draw, just not how much of a draw. He took a sip of his coffee and then lifted his cup.
" Do you want a cup of Joe? "
" Oh, hell yeah; that rocket fuel that Ernie makes in unpalatable, " Zack said as Phoenix chuckled. He reached into the cupboard and pulled out a cup for Zack, pouring a coffee for the handsome Dom.
" So, how ' s it going with your lover, Cassidy ? " Phoenix asked. Zack ' s expression changed into such a heart melting look, Phoenix was instantly jealous. Zack ' s new boyfriend, a sub named Cassidy Ryan, was tall, tanned, blond , and the most good looking LAPD detective that Phoenix had ever seen. Zack had stopped working at the club, keeping his play only for his sub. It had surprised everyone that they worked with. Zack seemed to love his work and was quite good at it, so when he became a one man Dom, everyone had been astonished.
" Cassidy ' s wonderful, " Zack said, taking the coffee from Phoenix. " I never thought I ' d fall for a sub but there is something absolutely special about that amazing man, " Zack said.
" Man , you ' ve got it bad for him, " Phoenix replied, grinning over his coffee cup.
" Damn straight , and he ' s got me wrapped around his little finger. If he told me to jump, I ' d ask how high. " Phoenix laughed and punched Zack in the arm.
" Aww, look at you, you old softie, " Phoenix said. " Being led around by the nads. The big tough Dom. " Phoenix laughed as Zack frowned at him, taking another sip.
" When you find the one, Phoenix, you ' ll understand, " Zack said, pinning him with a look that could kill. Phoenix suddenly began to squirm under Zack ' s gaze. Uh, yeah, no, that will never happen.
" Well, I ' m gonna go watch that feed and then get the kid up for dinner, " Phoenix said, quickly changing the subject. Zack watched him as if he could see right through Phoenix , and it made him uncomfortable.
" Okay, Ivan. Take care with him though. He ' s very fragile, " Zack said , and Phoenix knew exactly what he meant , but he had no intention of hurting the kid. He just wanted to train him and help him find his rightful place in the world.

Late that afternoon, Phoenix woke the boy up and told him to dress. Wade looked scrumptious in the new clothes that Phoenix bought , and he was anxious to take him out for another great meal. The storm had finally passed, and it promised to be a night with good weather so he s uggested that they eat somewhere that had an outdoor patio. Akasha Restaurant in Culver City was one of Phoenix ' s favorite places to dine , and they had a great menu. For some reason, Phoenix wanted to treat the boy to something a little special. He felt sorry for him because of the life he ' d led and he believed that he could help the boy to do better. He was happy that Zack had let the boy stay.
They arrived early at the restaurant, before the dinner rush, so they got seated right away. Wade asked Phoenix to order for him. The boy was probably intimidated by the prices on the menu , and he definitely sought approval from Phoenix, wanting to do whatever made the Dom happy. That was obvious. Phoenix started them off with a salad of escarole hearts with lemon
