though. Would you think less of them for that?”
“Hell no. You know I don’t.” Matt couldn’t believe JRad would assume he’d be such a prick.
    “Then what’s the problem?”
“I don’t want the guys to think I was like…in the closet or something.” Matt winced. “I didn’t lie to anyone. Not myself. Not Clint. And not any of the Men in Blue. I didn’t feel this way until I met Jambi. And honestly, not really until your wife stirred up trouble. Like she said…”
Before JRad could get riled, Matt clarified, “Despite what you might assume, I’m glad she did. But I felt like if I suddenly jumped Clint’s bones or something that he’d think I’d always harbored some secret crush or some shit. It wasn’t like that.”
“Hey, don’t you think you could have talked to me about this?” Clint interrupted. “I wouldn’t have thought that. Hell, it never crossed my mind that I’d consider being with another dude until that night either.”
    He cleared his throat.
“Look, Matt’s right about one thing. You guys have more issues than we can fix in an hour or two. Or hell, even a day.” Lily stopped them before they drowned themselves in overwhelming emotions. That’s what’d ground them to a halt so many times over the past couple months. “So why not take it one step at a time?”
“Which one first?” Clint rubbed his chest over his heart. Matt wished he had the right to hug the other guy.
“Well, if you two don’t step up to the plate, Jambi’s going to be getting it on with some of my clients in about three hours. So, that probably takes priority.” She had the manners to look a little sheepish.
    “Tonight?” Matt’s heart raced.
So soon? He wasn’t ready, was he?
“I didn’t want to give you enough time to freak out.” Lily came over and petted his hair. Whether he wanted to admit it or not, the reassurance in her fine touch was welcome. “You two are overthinking all of this. Go with your instincts. I know you have them. It’s what makes the Men in Blue great at their jobs. Trust yourselves.”
Clint blew out a long breath. “Just do it, you mean.”
“Literally.” JRad chuckled from where he leaned against the wall.
“Remember, this is all about her. That should make it easier. Your only purpose is to bring her pleasure. As much of it as you can give. Certainly a selfless goal like that should keep all your individual nonsense at bay, right?” Lily rested one hand on Clint and one on Matt, binding the pair together.
“I guess. One thing…” Matt couldn’t shake a sliver of doubt.
“What now?” Lily’s narrowed eyes dared him to ruin her plan.
“What if we do this, tonight, then can’t work stuff out? Between us. Or her. Long term. I don’t want to set her expectations too high and not be able to deliver. I couldn’t stand it if we disappointed her more than I feel like we already have. Jumping right into sex might not be smart. What will she say if she learns later that Clint and I are into each other? Will she feel like we lied to her?”
“Well, about that…” Lily glanced away for the first time.
“What did you do?” Clint practically squeaked.
“For tonight, she’ll be blindfolded. It was one of the things she marked on her wish list for this experience. She won’t know it’s you ravaging her if you don’t talk or reveal yourselves. It’ll be risk-free for you all. She’ll get what she wants. And you can try out a ménage and see if you both can really do it without freaking out. Also, I might have sort of spilled the beans about your kiss already anyway.”
“Lily!” Clint gripped the arms of his chair.
“If it makes you feel better, she thought it was sexy as hell.” Lily bussed Matt’s crown. “And so do I, boys.”
“JRad, are you going to spank her for all this interfering?” Clint asked, making Matt burst out into a fit of laughter that had been sorely missed lately. His partner could always have him rolling during
