“I’m as big as a house.”
Vince grinned at the plaintive comment made by his majorly pregnant wife, Emma, and pulled her into his arms, even as she protested about being bigger than the sun and likely to crush him.
He didn’t know what she was talking about — his wife was hot. “What’s not to like about bigger tits?” he asked, nonplussed as he squeezed her ass, filling his hands with that beautiful, plump flesh.
Everything about his wife was round and lush, which he found incredibly erotic. “And this ass…God damn woman, you’re killing me. I can’t keep my hands off you.”
Emma blushed but smiled as she allowed his hands to roam. “Well, there’s definitely more of me to love,” she admitted with a bit of exasperation. “But this baby is killing my bladder.” And then with a groan, she broke away to walk to the bathroom.
“I hate to see you leave but I love to watch you go,” he called out with an unabashed leer as she gasped and shut the door behind her.
At nine months pregnant, Emma was ready to be done but Vince loved everything about her pregnancy, including the bonus of watching her boobs grow twice their regular size.
She emerged from the bathroom with an unhappy frown and he wished he could do something to make her smile.
“Are you okay, sweetheart?” he asked as she sat beside him on their bed. “You truly are beautiful to me, you know that, right?”
“I do,” she answered with a sigh. “I just feel frumpy and ugly. It’s not you, it’s me. They should tell you that third trimester is no picnic.” She stared down at her belly. “My body is never going to be the same.”
“You’re right,” he agreed and she swung a wounded gaze his way and he brushed a kiss across her lips. “It’s ten times better than before. That’s my baby in there. That’s the hottest thing I’ve ever known. At this rate, I might keep you barefoot and pregnant for the rest of our lives.”
Emma gasped and swatted at him. “Don’t even joke like that! By the way I feel, this might be our only child.”
“Not a chance, hot stuff,” he growled, pulling her back on the bed. She fell, laughing, as he rained kisses down her neck, hitting her secret spots without mercy.
She squealed, her delighted giggles like raindrops on his heart. He reluctantly stopped, sighing when he realized the time. Sometimes this ‘responsible adult’ gig was a real buzzkill. “Dillon’s expecting me at the office,” he said, helping her sit up. “You going to be okay by yourself?”
“Of course. Why wouldn’t I be? I’m not suddenly made from spun sugar. I’ll be fine. Besides, according to the doc, I’ve got four more weeks, at least,” she said, groaning. “I really don’t know how that’s possible. There is nowhere else for this baby to go and my back has been killing me for days.”
He hated leaving her alone, though. Added to the fact that he was nervous about her going into labor when he wasn’t around, his cousin Sutton was still in town and he didn’t trust Sutton with the care of a potted plant, much less his pregnant wife.
Emma, on the other hand, hated when he hovered and reacted with a growl when he tried. “I won’t be long,” he promised, still dragging his feet even as his watch told him he was already late. “Make sure you have your cell with you at all times, no matter where you are in the house.”
Emma graced him with a look that said, you’re doing it again , and he shut up. “Don’t worry about me,” she said with a yawn. “I think a nap is on my agenda today.”
“A nap is a great idea,” he agreed. “Take a rest. Maybe read a book. Do you need anything while I’m out?”
Emma paused to think then brightened, saying, “Can you get me some of those pecan chocolatey things that you brought home the other night? I might’ve eaten the whole can already. Don’t judge me,” she tacked on with a faint scowl.
“You can eat a can a
