feeling from Susie dissipates, and I am staring at pure positive delightfulness. My flower.
“How may I service you today, Mr. Taylor?” she asks with a devilish gleam in her eye, which I don’t think I’ve seen yet.
That little minx. She said that to get a rise out of me, and clearly she knows how to do it because my dick zings with impatience the moment those words left her lips.  The lack of oxygen to my brain has tied my tongue just long enough to garner me speechless.  Before I realize that I haven’t answered, I look up to see Susie perching over Violet’s shoulder, leering at me. Shit, maybe coming inside wasn’t a good idea.
“My window’s free, Jordan, if you’d like to come over,” she tries again.
Knowing what she’s doing, right in front of Violet, has my blood boiling.  But I manage to keep my cool, nonetheless.
“I’m good right here with Violet.”
“But I’m sure I could do a better job at giving you a hand, Jordan.”  She tries to be sultry and winks at me, but it has the opposite effect. I am repulsed. Her attention seeking desperation is causing bile to rise into my throat.
“Susie, it’s Mr. Taylor, not Jordan, and I won’t be needing your help, thank you.” I try one last time to be civil, but the cunt goes for the jugular.
“That’s not what you were saying the other night,” she says and I can’t stop the boulder even if I tried.
“Excuse me?” Violet and I both ask in unison, but sadly, I know exactly where she is going with this. Damn it!
“You remember, Jordan .” She emphasizes my name again. The name I allow only Violet to call me.  “I can still feel your tight grip, your strong fingers wrapped around my ankle,” she contorts the truth.
“I don’t know what kind of game you are playing, Susie, but Violet is who I want.”
“That?” she points to Violet.  “Why would any man chose that over this?” She then runs her hands up and down her body like she is showcasing herself, up for bid on the Price Is Right .
“Even on your best day, Susie, you couldn’t match up to Violet on her worst. You may be attractive. Pretty even to some other men.  But let me tell you. You are a fucking horrible, nasty, and miserable person on the inside.  You may be able to seduce a man.  Trick him into your bed. But once he gets to know you, he’s out,” I lash out and I don’t even feel guilty for it.
Violets snaps her head back and forth between us and I am scared as shit that she believes her.
“Violet…” I start but she gives me the hand. The shut-up-if-you-know-what’s-good-for-you hand.
I lower my head in defeat. All I know is that when Susie was trying to lure me over, my flower turned into a shrinking Violet.  I will not let that happen on my watch.
When I turn back to her, after this immature, idiotic, and uncalled for interaction, her head is held high and her shoulders are straight.  My feisty girl is back.
“Interesting thing happened last weekend while you were on vacation,” she informs Susie.
“Oh yeah, what? You learned how not to dress like a cow?” she mocks.
I growl but Violet just laughs it off.  I envy her strength.
“Nope.  Although that was funny. Not as funny as this. Last weekend, while I was working overtime to fill in for you, who never called in, I was promoted.”
Susie whips her head around quickly, looking for some coworker she can confirm this with. She looks a little off balance. Panicky even.
“You got promoted?”  I ask, so proud of her.
She nods and smiles at me, but then refocuses on bitch-face, Susie.
    “Head teller,” she announces.
Susie shakes her head no repeatedly.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”  I ask, disappointed that I am just hearing about this now.
She shrugs.  “I don’t know.  Didn’t want to toot my own horn, I guess.”
I nod in understanding, and at her modesty.
After making sure I’m not upset, she turns back to Susie.  “And you know what my first official task
