is good because it gives me a chance to regroup.  Feeling the heat radiate from his body is making mine tingle. My brain starts flashing pictures at me. Pictures I have only had the pleasure of dreaming about - his broad shoulders, his ripped abs, his tight ass.  I clench my thighs together.
I begin to raise my hands toward his chest in hopes to cop a feel, but before I get the chance, he catches my wrists and brings them above my head.  My eyes snap to his and there is no anger there, he doesn’t want to hurt me.  What I do see is heat and lust and that freaks me out for a whole other reason.  I’m about a hundred percent sure that I couldn’t ever satisfy a man this sexy.
Before I get a chance to completely chastise myself, Jordan bends down and lowers his head toward mine. Slowly, he begins rubbing his cheek against mine, and then moves toward my ear. He sucks lightly on the lobe and my breath hitches.  I feel my panties beginning to soak and am a little embarrassed by how turned on I am by such a small thing.  I really don’t think there is anything he can do or say right now that could be any more intimate.
He pulls away from my ear slightly. Then in the raspiest, sexiest, dirtiest whisper, he makes a liar out of me. “Oh, I can get over myself. But it would take me another 28 years to get over you.”

I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t tell her. We were having so much fun and she was so relaxed.  But I am going to take her to lunch next week and do it for sure.  No doubt about it. Meanwhile, we continue to text, chat, and face time throughout the week. But tomorrow is Wednesday, Violetday, and I want to take her to lunch.  Not only to tell her about Susie and her manipulative ways, but also to ask her something important.
I shoot off a text to check if she can get out for lunch tomorrow.
    Pike: It must suck
    She answers almost instantly.
    Violet: What?
    Pike: Missing me so much
Violet: LOL. OMG you are such a goober
Pike: So what you are saying is you would like my nuts dipped in chocolate?
    Damn, I am funny!
    Violet: Jordan!
    Pike: nom nom nom
It takes her longer to answer this time and I start to sweat a little. Shit, I hope that wasn’t too much.
Violet: You are out of control
    Pike: You love it
    Violet: I do
    Thank fucking Christ.
Pike: Can I take you to lunch tomorrow?
Violet: Sure! But I only get an hour
Pike: I only need 5 minutes! BAM!
Violet: Not something you want to admit to too many ladies
She’s so cute.  I gotta see if I can get her to curse one of these days.
    Pike: There’s only one lady
I can’t believe I just admitted that to her.
Violet: You’re gonna make me blush
Ah, my favorite friend has arrived.
Pike: I love it when you blush
    Violet: Tomorrow?
    Pike: Tomorrow, my flower

I arrive at the bank at my usual time.  I shoot the shit with Cliff, the security guard, for a minute like always, then skirt the desks, and get in line to see my girl. There is one person ahead of me, and both Violet and Susie have customers. There doesn’t seem to be any other tellers working today. Violet finishes her transactions with the older woman who is always here the same time as I am - divorcée Mrs. Harlow, who has grabbed my ass more times than I’d like to admit - and then calls over the man in front of me. I’ve never seen him before.  As my luck would have it, Susie finishes up then flags me over.
“That’s okay, I’ll wait,” I tell her blandly.
“But I am open,” she argues.
“I see that, but I’ll wait for Violet.”
She doesn’t seem very pleased.  I mean, come on.  She goes from desperate flirtation, to cold shoulder, to now I owe her something.  No thank you.  This bitch runs hot and cold, and I don’t trust her for a minute. And the last thing I need is for her to draw attention to the tension between us.
Thankfully, Violet finishes with her customer quickly - he only had a few questions - then waves me over. The negative energy I was
