Sasha's Lion
right? You’re moving in?”
Sasha looked up at him with lust-filled eyes, and he
groaned, and his erection pulsed in his suit pants.
“Yeah, I said I’d give this mate thing a chance. But
you have to stop with the jealousy and trust me.”
He fought his lion not to break free and roar his
triumph at finally having her with him. “I trust you. It’s just everyone else I
don’t trust.”
Sasha chuckled. “Come on. My mum wanted to have a
chat with you before I move in.”
He groaned and opened her door helping her into his
truck. He turned to see his sister grinning.
“I knew there was a reason I agreed to help.”
Britney rubbed her hands together, and he heard her give a wicked laugh.
Fifteen minutes later Sasha’s mum came out of the
house as he pulled up.   As they got out
Sasha whispered, “Good luck.”
She went in with Britney while he went to Sasha’s
mother, who stood just off the side to the front door.
“Want to tell me why you so desperately need my
daughter to move in with you?”
Running his fingers through his hair he debated what
he should tell her. “I need her. I’d marry her right now if I knew she’d say
yes. I like how she makes me feels. I like talking to her. I knew from the
first time I saw her she was the one. I know this sounds sappy and like I’m
talking shit, but it’s the truth.”
Sasha’s mother eyed him for a while. “I’m not ready
to be a grandma.”
      He felt his
checks heat, and he nodded. “Argh, okay.”
She patted his back and turned to go into the house.
“Hurt her and you’ll have to learn to sleep with your
eyes open.” With that she walked into the house.
Savron stood looking at the door wondering what the
hell had just happened.
Britney came out with a box. “What the hell are you
standing around for? Come and help.”
Squaring his shoulders he walked into the house and
found his mate in a yellow room with a couple of boxes.
“I found these from when we moved in here. Why don’t
you chuck everything from the drawers into those two?” Sasha pointed to two
boxes that sat in front of a wooden tallboy
Opening the drawers he emptied the contents into the
boxes. When he got to the top he paused at the contents, lacy pink, black, blue,
and purple underwear. He reached in and pulled out a matching pink and black
set. He looked around to see no Britney.
Grabbing Sasha by the waist he held her set up and
whispered in her ear, “Want to wear these for me?”
She turned in his arms and yanked the set out of his
hands. “Only if you’re a good boy.”
He groaned as she stuffed the garment in her jumper
pocket and turned back to finishing packing. Mumbling about cruel women he
finished packing and did up both boxes and carried them to the door.
Sasha’s mother stopped him, eyeing him. “Do you need
help carrying those two boxes?”
    Fuck . He carried
the two boxes, which would be heavy for humans, like they weighed no more than
a feather. “Ah, no. There’s not much in these. I think
Sasha is almost done.”
Her eyes narrowed, but she shooed him away.
They arrived back at his home late. Sasha’s mother
had asked them to stay for dinner, and Britney, enjoying his discomfort, had
jumped at the chance. So he’d sat through dinner and twenty questions. What did
he do for a job? Was he planning on being a manager of the nightclubs for the
rest of his life? Did he own his house? Did he own his car? Was he happy for
Sasha to continue her dancing? And so on all night.
Dropping his sister off home now all he wanted to do
was snuggle with his mate, but he had to help her unpack.
“Thanks for answering all my mum’s questions.” Sasha
kissed him as he walked by with another box putting it on her side of the
walk-in wardrobe. Her arms came around his waist, and she hugged him tight.
Savron pulled away and breathed in her desert rose scent.
    I’d do
anything for this woman, he thought. “That’s okay. Her daughter
is moving in with a man
