her sisters had moved here after their oldest sister’s “marriage” to her two husbands. So far, she, River and Sunflower hadn’t picked out any men, but they all knew that if they stayed in Daly, if they picked a guy from here, that it was unlikely they’d have just one man. People did groups here.
Another reason, it was good she was like her mother—not that her mom had been into group sex that Moon knew of. She’d just been an open thinker.
Moon wasn’t opposed to the idea of a ménage. If she found the right guys. The irony of one of the frontrunners showing up in her time of need didn’t escape her. Maybe this was a sign.
“You guys don’t mind?” she asked. “I mean, I could stay in my car, I guess.” She bit her lip as she considered how long that wait could be. “I mean…maybe you guys could send someone for me when you get back.”
“That’s silly,” he replied, shaking his head. “C’mon. We have food and a fire. The beds are kinda hard but we can distract you.”
There was that speculative look again. Moon licked her bottom lip and glanced at the orb she’d been named for. A full moon. It made people do crazy things, and she was about to join the ranks. A night with three cowboys who often made her feel all tingly and hot inside didn’t sound like a bad idea.
“You don’t have a phone?” she asked.
“It doesn’t work out here. No man’s land, you might say.”
“Okay.” She nodded. What would it hurt to spend time with them? It wasn’t as if they’d force her to have sex. They weren’t like that. If nothing else, she’d have some fun company for the night. For the first time since she’d had her tirade, she noticed a pinpoint of flickering light in the distance.
“What are you doing?” a voice asked from the darkness. “You gotta share, Pete.” Cord Sabatello stepped from the shadows. “Hey, Miz Moon. Gonna come play with us?”
Cord was the most good-humored of the group, so she wasn’t surprised he described being with them as play.
“Will you be good?” she asked.
“Cord’s never good.” Sullivan Przekop moved into her line of vision, and all her cowboys were now present.
“Speak for yourself,” Cord scoffed, his hand going to his belt buckle as he did a shift that only a man could ever successfully pull off—not that a woman would want to. His meaning was clear. Her pussy was in grave danger of infinite pleasure if she let him near her—and she just thought she might. These three were always fun, and right now, she could use a little of that.
“So about this ‘fuck fuck fuckity fuck’…” Pete reminded her. “What do you say?”
“I thought you were offering food and fire.”
    “That too.”
She made a face but couldn’t hide her amusement.
“Miz Szuzman,” Sully broke in, his deep-south accent laid on thick. “In case it passed your notice, we’ve been trying to get your attention for months now.”
“There’ve been a lot of men—”
Pete growled, and the other two looked none too happy. She smacked Pete’s arm. “Not in my bed!”
He appeared far from mollified, and a shiver went down her back at this new side of Pete’s cowboy pack. At the moment, she could only describe them as territorial. As in “she was their territory, and all other comers better back the hell off.”
And that made her so hot she almost couldn’t breathe for her need for them.
“So what do you say?” Pete repeated.
    “Just for tonight?” she asked.
None of them looked too pleased. Suddenly, Cord stepped forward, a huge grin on his face. Leaning down, he lifted her over his shoulder fireman style. “We’ll start there.”
Before she could so much as screech at the manhandling, he headed through a narrow access in the jack-fence then toward the pinpoint of light with his teammates following him.

“What are you doing?” she demanded. “I’m not a sack of feed!”
