“To what?”
“My compliments.” His blue eyes were so sensual. “It’s not idle flattery.”
Leah didn’t know how to respond.
“I want you to know you are beautiful. And to have pride in your body.” He frowned. “You don’t question my judgment, do you?”
She shook her head. “No, it’s not that.”
He put his fingers under her chin and rubbed his thumb along her jaw, sending a thread of sensation to her core. “Then don’t doubt my perception. You might have made less of yourself before you met me. I’m sure you did. But not now. Not anymore.”
He didn’t look away. “Do you understand?”
She did, more than he thought. Gianni wasn’t making a plea for her to feel better about herself. He was telling her that she had to stop being critical of her body, because he didn’t want her to do that. And what he wanted was important to her.
“I understand,” she said. It wouldn’t be easy, but she would try.
“That’s better,” he said, and kissed her lightly.
Leah’s lips tingled, and she wanted more. But he was taking it slowly. Patience was something she was still working on, especially when she was with Gianni. Delay was torture in his presence. She wanted it all, and she wanted it without having to wait.
Gianni finished his wine, and refilled their glasses. He got up to turn on some music, and instead of coming back to sit beside her, he stood in front of the window. The darkness outside framed him, and the look in his eyes intensified.
Leah gulped her wine, sensing what he’d asked for upstairs at the party was only the beginning. He wanted more. She wanted more. Gianni sipped his wine, not taking his eyes off her, and her heart began to pound. He was so sexy, just standing there, looking at her. Her eyes drifted over his muscled body, and she could not help notice the bulge under his pants.
She drained her glass, waiting for his command, her panties soaked from anticipation. Gianni waited, taking the last two sips of his wine as though he had all the time in the world. Leah rubbed her palms on her thighs, nervousness building in her stomach, and she licked her lower lip.
Gianni put his glass down and looked at her. There was no smile. “Come here,” he said. And Leah stood, hesitating only a moment before walking over to him. She didn’t know what he had in mind, but whatever it was turned him on. His tone gave that away.

    Chapter 10
Gianni had been so pleased with her, the way she had done what he asked. But it hadn’t been enough. It was never enough with Leah. He wanted more, always more.
The way she trembled when he touched her aroused Gianni, and pushed him to the edge. It was how she responded, the way she reacted to him, that drove him crazy.
He placed a palm on her cheek, and Leah’s eyes half closed. “You liked that public display, didn’t you? It excited you to think there was a chance others would see you?”
Leah didn’t answer right away, and he could tell she was torn. But she was honest, as he knew she would be. “Yes,” she said. “I’ve never done anything like that before, so I didn’t know I’d like it.”
Gianni warmed to her confession. That was another thing he liked about her: her innocence. Not that she hadn’t had sex before him. She had. But no man had given her what she needed, or satisfied those deep urges she tried to repress.
“And tell me, baby, when I threatened to lift your skirt and spank you…you wanted it, didn’t you?”
Her cheeks flushed, but she answered him. “It was exciting, yes. For you to say that.” She paused. “But you wouldn’t do something like that, would you?”
She was so vulnerable, especially when she was aroused. Gianni felt his cock bulging against his briefs. But he would wait. He had something else in mind that he knew she would enjoy. And he would too.
“I might do something like that,” he said, and Leah glanced away. “But as long as you do what I ask, it will be okay. Look at
