Chapter One
Jess wasn’t sure what time it was. Rolling onto her front, she winced as her bruised tits brushed the soft bedding.
    ‘Good morning.’
    Jess sat bolt upright.
Miss Sarah was observing her with her usual collected calm. ‘Mrs Peters thought it best you be allowed to sleep in after your recent experiences. She did stress, however, that I should tell you this is a one-off. In future you will receive no exemption from your stated start time of employment at Fables, in whatever capacity.’
Heavy from her deep sleep, Jess said, ‘Yes Miss Sarah,’ without really registering what her superior was saying.
‘I trust you found my bed comfortable?’
‘Your bed?’ Looking around her properly for the first time Jess suddenly recognised the coffee-coloured duvet and the surroundings. ‘I’m sorry, I didn’t realise. I hope you haven’t been inconvenienced.’
The other woman shrugged dismissively, ‘I was entertaining an all night guest.’
Conscious of her naked chest, Jess pulled the duvet up over herself, making Miss Sarah snort with laughter, ‘Honestly, I’ve seen it all before. Get up and shower, we need to squeeze an extra exercise session in before you get to your desk.’
‘Yes, Miss Sarah.’ Jess ached all over, the very last thing she wanted was exercise, but she was too tired to argue. It would be pointless anyway.
Jess let the shower jets soak into her, un-knotting the tension from her frame, and easing away the strain of the evening before. It had been strange, brutal even, but she knew, in a way she couldn’t explain, that she’d enjoyed it. It had also been confusing. She simply could not work out the other women who worked on the fifth floor. Why did they take such delight in tormenting her, get so obsessed with punishing her when she failed to meet their over the top expectations, make out they hated her, and then in the next moment treat her with unexpected kindness? None of it made sense.
Reluctantly returning to the bedroom, wrapped in nothing but a huge bath sheet, Jess saw that Miss Sarah had prepared the room for the exercise session by pushing as much of the furniture back against the walls as possible.
‘Your clothes were tracked down.’ Miss Sarah gestured to a neatly folded pile on the stool near the dressing table, ‘Come and stand over here.’
Moving slowly, Jess stood as instructed, just in front of the dominatrix.
‘Now let’s have that towel.’ Miss Sarah took the bath sheet and stood back to critically examine the figure before her. ‘Our work is paying off already. Your shape is improving almost daily. You’ve definitely lost that puppy fat you were clinging to, and your waist is trimmer.’
Feeling perversely pleased at the comments of the older woman, Jess kept still as Miss Sarah brought her hands to her breasts. ‘And best of all,’ Miss Sarah held her tits as if they were prized melons, ‘we have managed to keep your chest its original size.’
Jess couldn’t contain a sigh as her companion allowed the little finger of each hand to stray teasingly over her nipples.
‘Down to business.’ Miss Sarah clapped her hands and sat on her bedside stool, ‘You will jog on the spot until I tell you to stop.’
‘Please, Miss Sarah, I’m very tired, and I have so much work to catch up on, could we leave our exercises today? You did say I was doing well.’
‘I did,’ Miss Sarah’s kind tone changed to one that bristled with disappointment, ‘but we have targets to keep, child, and I believe you know as well as I do how unwise it is not to do as you are told here. Honestly, it’s almost as if you have a taste for being chastised.’
Shocked that anyone should think she wanted their bizarre brand of discipline, and then wondering if perhaps Miss Sarah was right, Jess took a deep breath and, with a meek dip of her head began to jog on the spot.
‘You see how delightfully her chest bounces as she jogs?’
