can kiss and hold hands in public.”
“Why not?” Grant was shocked that Miki would think they had to restrict their physical affection in front of others. He wanted to be able to grab her hand or kiss her lips whenever the hell he felt like, wherever the hell they were.
She sat up, her eyes wide with shock and confusion. “You can’t seriously think no one is going to notice me holding hands with two guys? Kissing two guys?”
“Miki, we’re gonna want to hold your hand some times, and it won’t matter where we are, if we want to kiss you we will.” Grant held up a hand. “Before you freak out, we’re not planning to jump your bones in public and we certainly don’t want to make you feel uncomfortable or draw attention, but we also don’t want to hold back just because someone might notice. I don’t care who knows I share you with Dayne. It’s none of their business.”
“You’re not the one they’ll look down on, Grant. It’ll be me. I’m the woman, so I’ll be labelled a slut for sleeping with two men.”
“Do you think you’re a slut for sleeping with two men?” Dayne asked.
“God, no. But it’s not what I think that matters.”
“Of course it is.” Grant’s voice had risen with his anger. Dayne didn’t look any happier with the way Miki was talking and obviously thinking. “You’re the only one who does matter, Mikaila. You and only you.”
    “But—”
“No buts, I don’t give a rats arse what anyone else thinks or says. The only thing I care about is that you’re happy. That we’re happy.” Grant gestured to the three of them.
Miki’s gaze bounced between them. She’d pulled her bottom lip into her mouth and Grant could see the tips of her teeth cutting into the delicate flesh. He walked around the island and stood next to her. With gentle fingers, he pulled the lip free of her bite.
“I promise I won’t do anything that truly makes you uncomfortable, but I can’t promise not to kiss you. Not to touch you. But if at any stage anything either I or Dayne does makes you uneasy, tell us. Remember your promise. Hold nothing back, all we ask for is the truth. Okay?”
    She nodded.
    “Say it,” Grant demanded.
Miki’s darted her gaze over to Dayne before returning to him. “I promise to hold nothing back.”
Grant studied her for a minute longer before he leaned down and brushed his lips over hers. A quick kiss that didn’t have time to turn into anything deeper as the coffee machine chimed and reminded him he was in the middle of cooking. He stepped away and walked back to the stove and the pan he’d left heating. The egg mix sizzled as he poured a third of it into the hot skillet. Dayne dropped a handful of each ingredient into the mixture and Grant kept careful watch over the omelette so it didn’t burn.
The bottom browned quickly and he had to take the pan off the heat for a minute or risk blackening the underside. He used a spatula to fold the omelette in half and flipped it once before he slid it onto a warming plate and put it in the oven. Working fast, he got the other two ready and switched off the burner. Grant turned to see Dayne and Miki had set the table with plates, cutlery and coffee. Grabbing the potholder, he lifted the plate from the oven and walked over to join them.
“They smell delicious.” Miki leaned over to take a deep breath of the omelettes. “I hope they taste as good as they smell.”
“Of course they do.” He served each of them an omelette before returning the plate to the kitchen. “Anyone want a juice?”
    “No, I’m good,” Dayne said.
    “I’ll stick with coffee.”
Grant grabbed a glass and filled it with juice before rejoining Miki and Dayne. He was pleased to see his best friend was already halfway through eating, but the sight of Miki taking her first bite had his gut clenching and his cock stirring. She’d cut a small portion and brought it to her mouth but she didn’t eat it straight away. Breathing in she
