Trapped in Time-Extinction
why the Commandant is so frightened.”
Tyler laughed, “You think!” Tyler moved the glider lower and said, “Olivia, I need you to try and remain as still as possible. Landing on a moving ship is not an easy thing to do and doing it with two people on a glider is…”
    “Impossible?”
    Tyler smiled, “No, just harder.”
Olivia looked down at the ship and saw a group of men were gathered at the stern. She saw Tyler take the glider past the stern to the right side of the ship and suddenly turn toward it. Olivia almost screamed but managed to close her mouth and shut her eyes. The glider looked like it was going to crash in the rear mast but the ship moved under it and Tyler pulled the retraction cord just as he arrived over the rear deck. They fell six feet and the men gathered under them caught them as they fell.
Tyler lay on the rear deck and couldn’t move his legs. He saw the crew unbuckling Olivia and he closed his eyes. The long run with the eighty-five pound glider pack and the stress of expecting to die had finally taken their toll. He closed his eyes and felt the wooden deck under him. He forgot everything else as fatigue took him.

Chapter Five
O livia felt the straps being removed and she struggled to stand. The man they had followed to the ship helped her to her feet. She opened her mouth to thank him but saw Zeck standing beside the steering wheel. Her eyes went wide and she shouted, “WHAT IS THAT MONSTER DOING HERE!?”
Zeck saw her hatred and closed his eyes. Rory looked at the young girl and shook his head, “He’s the one that insisted we try to save you. He’s the reason we came here.”
“He’s the monster that has been terrorizing my sister for years!”
Rory shook his head and Zeck said, “Don’t blame her, she’s right.”
Olivia heard him and spit in his direction. It hit him in the face and he wiped it off. He turned his back on Olivia and tried to focus on steering the ship. Rory’s expression turned to anger, “You obviously don’t know anything.”
    “I KNOW WHO HE IS!”
Rory grabbed her chin and forced her to look at him, “No you don’t! You only know who he was, not who he is now. He saved your sister’s life and he insisted we come here to save you. From where I stand, you aren’t worth the effort.” He turned to Johnathan, “Take her below decks. I’m sick of seeing her.”
Olivia was shocked and could only walk away with her mouth open. She was taken to a room below and Johnathan said, “You will stay here until we get you to your sister.”
Olivia looked at John and shook her head, “I saw him purchase Ophelia and drag her to his ship.”
Johnathan turned around before he went out of the door and said, “Where were the slaves going that he bought her from?” Olivia stared at him in silence. “They were going to the pens and you know that. He bought her to stop her from being sent there. When we captured them, he was made a slave and your sister was given custody of watching over him. She nearly beat him to death.”
    “He deserved it!”
John stared at Olivia and shook his head, “I heard your sister say that he never beat her. Our leader was going to execute him because we do not keep slaves but your sister begged him not to do it. She wailed that he didn’t deserve it.”
    “That’s a lie!”
John’s expression turned hard, “One thing you are going to need to learn; lying is not something we do. You should have been left behind, you ungrateful brat!”
John slammed the door and Olivia stared at the closed door. She threw herself on the bed and knew she had made a mistake in coming with Tyler. These people were no better than the Destroyers. An hour later, a young woman knocked on the door and entered with a tray of food, “You should eat.”
    “I’m not hungry.”
“The trip home is going to take several weeks and not eating will only make things worse. I’m sure your sister is going to be excited to see you.”
    “Do you know
