you say.”
    We
walked back to his bedroom covered in matching white towels, ready to recover
from the double sex fest we just had.
    “What
now?” I ask.
    “We
catch up on sleep. I don’t know about you, but I’m exhausted.”
    “Sounds
like a plan.” He removed his towel and laid down on
the bed naked.
    “Are
you coming?”
    “I
did that already.”
    “As
long as you’re with me, you always will be. I hardly ever disappoint.”
    “I
know.”
    We
took a brief nap and re awakened just before 4:30 P.M.
    “I’d
like to cook dinner for you tonight, what kind of meat do you have?”
    “I
don’t really have much of anything besides frozen meals at the moment.”
    “That’s
a shame, well let’s go food shopping.”
    “Alright.”
    After
we were both dressed, I handed him the keys to my car.
    “What
are these for?” he said.
    “You’re
driving us to get them; I’m tired of being a chauffeur. Besides, I don’t know
my way around here like you do.”
    We
arrived in front of a grocery store nearby named ‘Price Chopper’.
    I
grabbed a shopping cart, and navigated through each aisle, stuffing it full of
lean meats, fresh vegetables, drinks, and sauces. The cart was so full; it kept
shifting to the left every time I tried to push it forward. We stood in line
and completely filled the mechanical belt with our merchandise.
    “That’ll
be $160.00,” The young cashier said.
    I
pulled my debit card out of my pocket and Allan immediately snatched it out of
my hand.
    “What
exactly do you think you’re doing? Save your money, I’ve got this,” he said,
while handing the cashier exact change.
    We
exited the store and filled the entire trunk and backseat of my car full of
paper and plastic bags. After a short trip home he parked in the driveway and
started emptying out the grocery bags.
    “Here
take these two bags and grab the door, I’ve got the rest.” He carried about
fifteen bags inside all at once.
    “Take
what you need for dinner, and I’ll put the rest of it away.”
    I
took out a four pack of chicken breasts, olive oil, peppers, onions, and
carrots. I washed, chopped, and seasoned everything, drizzle it in olive oil
and bake it in the oven for 45 minutes. I also made a fresh salad and rice for
sides.
    “I
guess you really can cook, huh? What’s for dessert?”
    “Me.”
    It
was the middle of the night and I woke up extremely thirsty. I quietly slipped
out of bed as to not disturb him, took his black robe off the door, and walked
down the hall to the kitchen. Before I got there, I saw the reflection of the
refrigerator light on the floor, and heard someone rummaging through it. Breathe
Alecia. I’m sure it’s not Jake I mumbled under my breath.
    I
was shocked to see a woman standing there. She had short blonde hair, wore
mismatched blue and orange lingerie, and had a huge red heart tattoo on her
lower back. She turned around and slightly jumped at the sight of me.
    “Hey,
you startled me! It’s thirsty work dealing with these boys huh?”
    “Definitely.”
    “I’m
Lynne.”
    “I’m
Alecia.”
“Wait, you’re Alecia? Jake won’t shut up about you!”
    “What
do you mean he won’t ‘shut up’ about me?”
    “Have
you two dated before?”
    “No,
I’ve been with Allan this whole time. Are you Jake’s girlfriend?”
    “No,
we just occasionally hook up from time to time. We’ve been doing it off and on
for about two years now.”
    “What
exactly has he been saying about me?”
    “That
he wishes you were his and that he’d do just about anything to have you.”
    “He
must be talking about a different Alecia, then.”
    “Maybe”
she said with a smirk, while handing me a cold bottle of water.
    “Thanks.”
    “No
problem, it was nice meeting you. I’d be careful if I were you though, Jake
seemed pretty adamant about being with this ‘Alecia’ girl.”
I turned around and walked back down the hallway to
Al’s room, slamming the door behind me.
    “Ice
