I'm anxiously sitting at the tiny, overcrowded bar in Chicago's Mount Greenwood district. It's a cramped little joint called "The Matchbox", which is labeled appropriately, considering it can only hold about twenty-nine customers at once.
I glance up and catch my reflection in the mirror behind the rows of colorful bottles on the shelves at the rear of the bar. I see my shining, bright-green eyes staring back at me with my silky mahogany hair falling loosely around my pale shoulders. I nibble firmly on my bottom lip, adding a bit of plumpness and a slight cherry red color to it, hoping that she likes how I look for her this evening.
I fidget in my seat, glancing from the door to the clock, which is situated on the brick wall over the bar before gazing back at the whiskey-neat, resting firmly in my grip. My eyes make the same circuit three times and then I look up for the fourth time… just as she walks in. The smooth waves of her blonde hair are kept meticulously in place and are brushing just past her shoulders, in a smooth, elegant bob. Bright-blue eyes that sparkle like a pair of blazing sapphires are searching the room, looking for her intended target. Me ….
Her name whispers softly through my mind and I instantly feel my body begin to respond. Oh, Alexandria … My breath hitches and my hand instinctively starts to clench tightly around the glass that contains my drink.
She is so beautiful that she takes my breath away.
Where Alex is silk, sophistication, and exudes an animal-like magnetism, I am not. I can bring out the 'sexy' when needed but she naturally has it in spades. It oozes from her like a rolling fog, encompassing everyone and everything around her. The eclectic mix of people milling about the hazy little bar simply can’t help but become ensnared and enraptured by this beautiful creature. I already am.
I'm watching her move toward me and the bar lighting seems to make her skin appear porcelain perfect, with that slight shimmer to her skin tone that I love so much. While I'm also fair of skin, it looks like I could certainly use a bit more exposure to the sun, whereas Alex seems to positively glow with the youth and vitality that some women pay thousands of dollars to achieve."
Alex finds me sitting on a stool near the end of the bar, where I always wait for her. For over two months, I have been coming here and waiting. I sometimes fear that one day she won't come and these weekly interludes will abruptly end, or I'll wake up and find that this was all an elaborate fantasy. I quickly shake off the thought. I feel that there is no need to depress myself right now, as Alex is coming for me.
Confidently, she glides her way through a slew of people, heading directly toward me . As she approaches, her gaze studies me, from the tips of my black, peep-toe kitten heels and up even further, touching over my slender legs to land on my full, firm breasts. Her gaze lingers a moment longer before moving up to my face. A smile filled with lascivious intent spreads across her stunning face and for a moment my heart stutters and then starts to pound double-speed, as if it's trying to leap out of my chest and into her waiting palm.
Alex is radiant. Everyone around us knows and can clearly see this. As I sit here upon this barstool with my legs crossed, wearing a clinging, black sheath-dress, I give her the same visual perusal that she is giving me. Alex is literally dripping in jewels and dressed head-to-toe in designer wear, reminding me yet again how different we truly are. Recently, I've been questioning my feelings for her and if this anxiety over not seeing her anymore is any indication, I think that I may be falling for her.
She approaches me and steps slightly to the side of the barstool that I am perched on. Alex’s bountiful breasts, covered in a sumptuous stunning navy blue silk, lightly brush against my arm as she leans down to whisper sweet words in my ear. "Hello, my sweet Felicity."
