and fall for a damn pussy."

Chapter Eighteen

After Dominic dropped me off at my hotel, I showered and got ready for my day. I hung around my room for a few hours before I decided that I needed to make a plan.
First things first, I wanted to find a job so I can hopefully save enough to get an apartment or something. I bet I look like trash living in this run down hotel, but it is the only place I can afford at the moment.
Plus, I don’t want to ask anyone for help. I want to show my mom and everyone back home that I don’t need them to survive out here.
Once I am all done changing into a little more work appropriate outfit, I walk towards the shops that are walking distance from the hotel. The least amount of gas I have to spend, the better it will be for me.
I walk towards the bar where I met Anslie, Dom, and their brothers. There is a cute little coffee shop next door so I stop in there and ask if they are hiring. The girl behind the counter looks me up and down before saying no. She doesn’t even bother asking me if I had any experience.
Sighing I make my way into the bar. I see the same bartender from last night, so I make my way over to him and ask if they are hiring.
"Well typically I'd say no, but you are hot as hell. I'm sure you'd fit in just perfectly." Blushing, I look down. "Aw don't get shy on me now," he says with a lazy smile. He must think that it is a good look on him, but it’s not.
"How about you start tonight?" he says looking around the bar.
"I'd love to!" I say excitedly. I can't wait to be making my own money.
"Great come by around five and I'll get you started," he says looking me up and down once more. His eyes linger on my breasts and I get a little uncomfortable, but don't say anything. I don't want to ruin my first chance at a job.
I say my goodbyes and make my way out into the Nevada sun. I thought that Texas got hot, but Nevada has a different type of heat. I stop by a small diner and order some food before heading back to my hotel room to get ready for my first shift.
It's a little after four when I get back to my hotel room. The first thing I notice is my door is broken and there is splintered wood all around the door frame. I tentatively take a step inside and see that all my stuff has been tossed around the room. My bags are empty. Shit, the money. I run over to my bag that I hid all my cash in and find that it’s missing along with all of my jewelry.
They stole all my money and jewelry. I can't believe it. Everything important to me is gone. Before I start to actually lose it, I dial Dom.
"Dom," I whisper when he answers the phone.
"What's wrong?" Hearing his voice makes me feel a little better, but I still don't know how to process everything. "Coley what's wrong?" I can hear the worry in his voice.
"Someone broke in while I was looking for a job. All my money and jewelry is gone," I sniffle. "I have nothing left. What am I going to do?" The tears are starting to fall silently down my face.
I have no money left except a little bit of money in my account from my last paycheck in Texas. There is no way I'll be able to afford the hotel anymore.
"Cole, go to my house and stay there until I get back. I'll take care of everything when I get home." His offer makes the butterflies in my stomach go all crazy, but I don't want to be dependent on him. I want to be able to support myself.
"Dom, I can't. I want to do this on my own. I don't want to rely on someone else. What if we don't work?" Hell, we just met. I'm sure he will get tired of me within a few days, and I don't want him to think of me as some charity case.
"Just go to my place and we can talk about this later. Do you want me to send one of the guys?"
Hiccupping and wiping my eyes, I let out a quiet no.
"Baby I'll send you my address. Get comfortable. I should be home in a few days. Call Anslie if you need anything. There's food in the cabinets and fridge so
