Ethan took the outside with her pressed close between them. Madison looked up to see that two large men had joined Jordan and had done the same with her; she smiled up at them before snuggling happily down between her mates.
    Jared introduced Madison to everyone sitting with them. He’d just finished introducing her to Max and Kline, Jordan’s mates when another group of three sat down to complete their booth.
    The new group was comprised of Gage and Simon; their mate Winter didn’t look happy to be there, her mouth turned down in a sullen pout, barely returning Madison’s greeting when introduced.
    As she watched, Gage wrapped one large hand around the back of Winter’s neck and leaned to whisper in her ear. Whatever he said had an immediate effect; she straightened with a blush and nodded before she responded verbally with a soft, “Yes, sir.”
    Winter looked at Madison, discomfort and embarrassment in her eyes. “I’m sorry for my rudeness, Madison. I’m truly pleased to meet you. I was just pouting because I’m being punished and forgot my manners.”
    Madison’s heart went out to the other woman, knowing how hard it must have been to make that confession to a stranger. Offering a hesitant smile she said ruefully, “I completely understand, I’m being punished too. Not always the best circumstance in which to meet someone new,” Madison finished with a grimace.
    Winter’s face immediately softened, her eyes now greeting Madison with true apology and tentative friendship. “Thank you for understanding.”
    Though saying something so personal out loud for everyone at the booth was hard for her, Madison was glad she’d been able to offer something to relieve the other woman’s discomfort.
    Jared’s big hand wrapped around the back of her own neck as he pulled her around to face him; he smiled down at her before kissing her deeply. “I’m proud of you, little mate.”
    Releasing her, he exchanged a meaningful look with Ethan before returning to his conversation with the other two alphas and their seconds.
    Ethan stood up from the edge of the booth, took Madison’s arm, and pulled her up to follow him.
    “Where are we going?” she asked, suddenly finding herself a little shy of Ethan.
    “You earned yourself a little reward, my lady,” he informed her as he pulled her out of the room and down the hall into a small bathroom. Shutting the door, he turned to face her. “Lift your dress to your waist.”

    “So pretty,” he murmured. “Spread your legs.”
