this one?” I grinned at him and he laughed.
“I’m not promising. Shit you’re so beautiful, Julia.”
The way my name rolled of his tongue was like he was making love to me with words. I could listen to him say it all day.
“I better take if off then.” I hooked my thumbs in the straps and shimmied my hips until it dropped to the floor. I kicked it and the dress out of the way.
Rivers ran a hand up the back of his head. It stopped on the top of his head. He reached for me with his other arm. I shook my head and he raised an eyebrow.
“You have too many clothes on.” I looked down at his boxers.
He yanked them off and I slammed into him. His arms wrapped around me like steel bars holding me and his mouth claimed mine in a kiss so hard and so deep it was like he was marking his territory. And I loved every second of it.
He backed me up to the bed. With a tenderness that almost brought tears to my eyes, he lifted me up and laid me on the bed, bunching a pillow under my head. Then he lay beside me. For a long while we just kissed. Rivers’ mouth didn’t move any further down than my collarbone. But our hands skimmed over each other’s body and it wasn’t long before Rivers’ got closer and closer to my mound.
He kissed across my collarbone and caressed the inside of my leg. His hand was on my upper thigh. I was so wet I could feel my juices running down my skin. I wanted to grab his hand and shove it to my pussy. But I let him take the lead, set the pace.
“Are you cold?” His lips moved against my skin when he spoke. His voice was husky.
    “No,” I whispered.
“Are you sure? You’re shaking and you have goose bumps.”
    “I’m sure.”
His hand moved closer to where I wanted it. His lips moved lower. My breathing quickened. He noticed, too, because he turned his head slightly and looked at me. He inched his hand closer.
“You’re not cold?” His hand inched a tiny bit closer and his head moved down and he placed opened mouthed kisses on the top of my breasts.
I shook my head slowly. The fingers of one hand curled in his hair. The other gripped the comforter of the bed. “No.”
“Then it must be this then.” I held his gaze. He moved down until his head was lying just below my breasts. He looked at me for a few beats before he took ahold of my breast and just as his mouth latched onto my hardened nipple his finger connected with my clit.
I arched my back and gasped his name. He rubbed and massaged the bundle of nerves until I was writhing beneath him.
“Do you like that, baby?” he murmured when he switched breasts.
“Yes,” I panted. A fine sheen of sweat covered me and I was rushing toward my orgasm. “I want you inside me.” He slipped two fingers inside my slit and my head rolled back and forth on the pillow. “No,” I moaned and grabbed at his arms “I want you in me. All of you.”
He pulled away and I heard the crinkle of the condom wrapper and then he was back. He supported himself on his forearms, one on each side of my head. He was close enough to kiss. And that’s what he did. He gave me the most luscious, deep kiss when he rocked into me. Our moans were muffled by our kisses.
It was the most erotic lovemaking I’d ever experienced. He slid in and out of me slowly, sending raw pleasure through my body, while he kissed me so gently, lovingly. It made butterflies swarm in my chest and desire coil between my legs. I’d never felt that way before. It was like he reached in and touched every part of me, igniting me, setting aflame a need I didn’t know I had.
I gripped his arm with one hand and ran my fingernails down his spine with the other. When I felt my release building, I buried my face in his neck and wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling him deeper into me.
“Fuck,” he groaned. “Julia, look at me.” I let my head fall back to the pillows and locked onto his gaze. “I want to see you come. Keep looking at me, baby. God, you feel so good.”
