is happening then?” Ryder says, wiggling his finger at us.
“Yeah, brother. You have a problem with that?”  I tense up, waiting for his reply. Shit, I don’t want to come between the brothers. It scares me to think that they won’t think that I am good enough for Reeve. Shit, even Marc told me that I wasn’t enough so he fell in love with someone else. I go to slide off Reeve’s lap but he holds me firmly to him; I look over my shoulder at him and he is frowning. My stomach sinks.
“I’m just going to get a drink, anyone want anything?” I forcibly remove Reeve’s hands from his grip around me and stand. Everyone shakes their heads ‘no’ so I head for the door.
“Lipsy, stop!” I freeze in my tracks from his tone alone but I don’t turn around, I really don’t want to see the faces behind me. “Ry, I don’t know what the hell your problem with Leah is, but it stops now. Yes we are doing this and yes, Juicy knows. We are all adults here, well; I like to think we all are. We don’t know if we are going to carry on as a three-way relationship yet but that is our decision to make and no-one else’s. Now I think you need to apologize to my girl for making her feel uncomfortable. I won’t have anyone hurt her or make her feel unwelcome.” I can hear Reeve’s heavy breathing but I also heard the gasps for the women. I turn to face the room and my heart skips a beat, Reeve is almost toe to toe with Ryder and his face is red from his outburst. Ryder turns his head to me and his face softens.
“Leah, I am sorry if I made you uncomfortable.” He shakes his head but smiles at me, “I always knew that it would take a wildcat to tame this big douche and I am glad that it’s you.”
The breath I didn’t know I was holding escapes my lungs and I close my eyes, trying my damn hardest to keep the tears from leaking out and giving away how much Ryder’s words hit the emotional target on my heart.
    Fucking Phoenix boys.
“Miss Leah, is my baby cousin coming today?” Demi asks, running over to me.
“Well hopefully not, Cariad. Baby Phoenix will be early and that means he or she will be super small, so we have to pray that Auntie Lucy can hold on for a few more weeks until when it’s time for baby Phoenix to come into the world and meet the whole family.” I pick her up and kiss her cheek.
“So are you like, Uncle Reeve’s girlfriend now, like my Mama and Daddy?” Shit the kid is killing me. I open my mouth to answer her but no sound comes out.
“Yes, Dems, Leah is my girlfriend. You ok with that, Ladybug?” She nods her head and reaches for him, he takes her and leans in and whispers in my ear.
“I don’t know how you do it back home in Wales, but Leah Adams, will you be my girlfriend?” He actually has the decency to blush, oh bless his cotton socks.
“Boys don’t normally ask, it’s kind of a given when couples spend a lot of time together and others things.” Great now it’s my freaking turn to blush. Brilliant. “But since this is what you do here, then yes. But what about Skeet?” I blush a whole new shade of red. The family sniggers after hearing my question. I love the fact that everyone in Reeve and Skeet’s lives accept their lifestyle.
“Beautiful, I am just an add on. I told you, I get what’s happening between you two. So babe, I’m good,” he says as he gives Quinn a sideways glance and she blushes when she catches his stare. Something is up with that look. And I will find out what it is.

    Chapter 8
    Reeve
Waking lying on my back, I open my eyes to the sun streaming into the room; where the fuck am I? Movement catches my attention to my left, I turn to see Leah lying flat on her stomach facing away from me. Yesterday’s events come slamming back into my head, shit Lucy. She was so fucking scared that she would lose the baby. We waited for hours for news, but then Rafe walked into the room saying that Juicy and the baby were fine but now she is on bed rest
