I made love to her, slowly taking my time, until I couldn’t hold out anymore.
By the time we pried ou rselves apart she needed to get ready for school. I put my suit pants and shirt back on and grabbed our bagels from the kitchen. She dressed in a black pair of leggings, a white tunic top, and knee high black leather wedge boots that I’d have to ask her to wear in the bedroom one day. On our way out the door I kissed her, told her I loved her and I’d see her at dinner. I was more determined than ever to get her back.
I asked Segundo to take me to the mall so I could do some shopping. I picked her up banana shampoo. I decided since I was already there that I would pick up a couple things for her to leave at my place for when she stayed. I went to Victoria’s Secret where I bought every matching bra and panty set I could find. I headed Nordstrom and bought her an entire wardrobe so she wouldn’t have excuses not to stay. I got jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, sneakers, boots, heels, sandals, flip-flops, sweatpants, yoga pants, pajama sets, lingerie, a couple dresses, skirts, blouses, a new Burberry winter coat with a scarf and purse to match. (Yes, I went crazy.) I even picked out an array of cosmetics. I swear the sales lady looked at me like I was insane and for the total cost I may as well have been. I needed to make one more stop before I was done. I headed for Tiffany & Co.

“Ms. Kline please see me after class.” Professor Gommerman said as I headed to my seat.
He was the one supervising my thesis, so I was hoping it wasn’t anything bad or that I was going to have to start from scratch. I took my time packing up my bag at the end and stopped at his desk on my way out.
“How’s your thesis coming along?” He inquired.
“Very well, it’s almost done. I’m hoping I’ll have a chance to finish it by next weekend.”
“Excellent. Listen, that’s not why I wanted to see you. There was a rumor I overheard earlier around the faculty room. I’m sure there’s no truth to it, but I wanted you to be made aware.”
“Okay… what is it?” I asked confused since all I ever did was come to school, go to class and go home.
“I overheard that someone put a complaint in at the dean’s office accusing you of having inappropriate relations with a professor.” What the fuck!
“That’s preposterous! I’d never do something like that.”
“I know. That’s why I’m bringing it to your attention. Your profession might cause a problem if it ends up going to a hearing though.”
“Is there any way to find out who filed the complaint?” I was astounded at the accusation. I only had a small group of friends here and was positive that it wasn’t any of them.
“I’ll see what I can find out. They usually keep it confidential, except for the boards.”
    “Thank you professor.”
“Ms. Kline, you are an excellent student. Please don’t let this effect your work.”
    “I won’t.”
“I’ll see you next week. If I hear anything in the mean time I’ll email you.”
I couldn’t believe what just happened. I had no idea who’d do something like that, my mind wandered to Reid for a spit second but I didn’t think he would do something like that and jeopardize his education career. I headed to dinner to meet Noah. When I arrived at the restaurant he was standing off to the side waiting for me. I headed over to him and wrapped my arms tightly around him.
“What’s the matter baby? You look upset.”
“It’s just something at school. I’ll tell you about it over dinner.”
“They’re setting up our table, it should be ready shortly.”
“How was the rest of your day?” I asked, he tried to hide a smile.
“It was fine. I have something to show you at the condo after dinner. You can get ready for work there.”
“What did you do?” I teased. I knew that face and
