Blaine downstairs to her bedroom. He tossed a white envelope onto the bed. “There’s your fucking money,” he spat.
    She licked her lips, trying to gauge his temperament. “Thank you.”
    The red-faced man looked mad as a hornet. Erin patiently waited for him to approach the subject.
    “People in town think you’re Dirty Money Ranch’s whore. What the fuck went on while we were away?”

    She slipped her top off and tugged her shorts down her legs. “I’m taking a shower. When you cool down and can have an adult conversation, I’ll talk to you. Until then, grow up.”
    She walked naked to the bathroom and flipped the water on. How dare he get jealous over her sleeping with Dierks? Or any of the men for that matter.     Kade sipped his coffee and shrugged. “Last time I heard, he went to the barn.”
    She blew out a breath. “Of course he did. He’s going to make me walk all the way out there in my robe to yell at him.” She moved to the door and stuffed her feet in her boots. “If there’s a murder, testify for me. Oh, and bail me out of jail. That place is creepy.”
    Kade gave her a thumbs-up. Scotty simply smiled. She opened the back door and headed out to the barn. The Dirty Money Ranch owned nearly two thousand acres of land with several barns planted along the way.
