ridiculous, so unlike her, but maybe she had been hiding her true self all these years. Maybe this was what she needed? An adversary, a protector, a man who could be a true match for her in every sense of the word.
But it sounded so unlike her.
Her relationships had never been like that. She had always been the boss with her geeky boyfriends, not the maiden being swept along by some powerful male.
He led her up the stairs and into a large bedroom with soft lighting.
"Shower's that way." He said. "You'll find everything you need in there."
She looked up at him and then turned to go but held onto his hand a moment longer.
"You'll pay for that too Ms. Falstaff." He said.  "I promise you."
"Worth every penny." She whispered and then fled to the bathroom leaving him speechless, hardly believing this new side to herself.
She looked around the bathroom which was nearly as big as her entire living room at home. With the door closed behind her suddenly it felt like relief to be safe from the continuing demands of his presence.
There was a lock on the door and she turned it before sinking down to the tiled floor and leaning her head into her hands.
Crazy. This is all too crazy.
She needed to talk to someone but there was no-one to call. She took her phone from her jeans and began scrolling down through her address book but all she could find were client names and estranged friends she had neglected over the years.
Then the phone buzzed in her hand, making her start.
    It was Candy.
They had exchanged numbers in order to make sure they could reach each other during the two days they had spent together, but she was no longer a part of Candy's brief. Ruben had explicitly told her he that he would 'handle' things with her from now on.
She considered a moment, then took the call and covered the phone with her hand. She answered in a whisper, knowing that Candy was probably risking her job by making this call.
"What do you want?" She said.
Candy's normally in your face attitude faltered when she heard Suzy's voice.
"I uh… just wanted to make sure that you were okay. I was worried about you after… after what all I told you earlier about Mr. Mayweather and his two buddies the Hargrave brothers."
"Don’t worry, you gave me good advice. Really good."
"I didn't give you any advice. I just told you he's got a thing for geeks, so don't blame me for anything stupid that you do with him."
"I'm not. It's the quicksand thing. You were right, I just need to go along with him."
"No. No you don't. Don’t let him bully you into anything. Look… I don't know why I'm doing this but if you need my help then just call me and… God damn it, I must be fucking crazy, but look, I'll come and get you out of there if you need me to. That bastard has no right to--."
"Candy. Shut up, it's okay, I can handle it. Thanks, but…"Suzy appreciated the offer but what she really wanted was another voice, a female voice to help her decide what to do next, or just to talk things through at least, not this crazy macho attitude that Candy had. "Can you just listen to for a minute? Please?"
"What is it Suzy? He's got you over a barrel, hasn't he? The bastard is good at that. One of the best."
    "He's… I don't know. I… can I… can I confide in you Candy? Can I trust you?"
"I just risked the best job I've ever had in my life had by calling you. Of course you can trust me. What is it?"
"I think he's setting me up here."
"You 'think'? Jesus, they say book smarts don’t mean a damn on the street. Suzy, in case you doubted it for one second you are now on a one way ticket into that man's fucked up fantasy world so the sooner you say no to him the better."
"What's he going to do to me?"
    "What do you think?"
"Is he going to fuck me?"
"That might be your fantasy, by it may not be his."
"What else would he want me for?"
"I told you, he's obsessed with girls like you, but there's something about you that's different. I think you might be close to
